What compare a full game to a mod that still classes itself in Alpha (although it isnt really)?
You can see now from the general gameplay if its your kind of game or not. It doesn't matter if it's in a buggy state right now, if you like it with the bugs then you'll love it without, but if you hate it right now then you most probably still won't once released.
I've watched a few streams today, some made me really want to play it while others just made me not even care. So im sat firmly on the fence at the moment, hoping i like it and that it's improved but if it isn't then oh well.

I think the closest i've come to slating it is saying that it doesn't look all that great from what i've seen which is a more than fair comment.
Infact reading your above post looks exactly like all the fangirls on the main forur screaming "OMG it's alpha you n0000b" when they are mentioning things they feel need looking at. If you read my post again i state "i am on the fence" which is not slating it or denying my love for it.
I've got the game, just can't play it until the 30/31st whenever it is. I did this because so many games lately have been so gash, i thought if it is i don't really loose much.

There we go again, if you are testing you can see if it's your kind of game or not. If you like the game you can look past the bugs etc of an Alpha, if you can't you probably still won't like it come release. I've got a few friends who like it and some that don't hence why im on the fence until i get to have a go myself.

Well thats for you to make your own mind up about it. It's an alpha so it isn't showing what the full game will be like, but obviously you can get an idea of what it will be like.
I've looked around and there are 4 different camps at the moment all about equal to be fair.
The Lovers - They love the game
The Likers - They like it, but feel things could be better.
The Unsure - They like certain aspects and hate others.
The Haters - They loathe the game.
In the end watch a few streams, plenty of them around and see if you'll like it and if you do give it a go. I doubt anyone here will tell you to 100% buy it or not it as it's a game in Alpha that has only been out for less than 48 hours.

We are not all bad so sorry if i came across as rude, it wasn't my intention. I am just merely throwing my opinion into the mix, it shouldn't matter if i haven't experienced it myself or through someone else.
I loved DayZ and still do, but it's hard not to compare this to that when they are similar games. I played it from when it first came out, so know what i was like when it was in alpha (even though its still stated as being in it) so it is fine to compare.
I do hope that it comes through though as i could see myself playing both.

Yes because those groups do apply to everything ever made, just like this. Or does this game need a new group?

Yeah they are, it's just looking around you normally have an idea which camp is normally ahead. I've been looking around today and they all seem quite even which you don't normally expect hence me bringing it up in the first place.
It seems a lot of people don't really know what to make of the game at the moment, which was my point when Strife mentioned if it was that bad.
If you look through this thread you have just as many people saying it's bad as it is good.
just played for about an hour....had a couple of CTD and it was a "challenge" to join up with a friend of mine as all the servers were full but got there in the end.
My opinion that its really buggy at the moment, and the zombies are uber stupid, i mean u just have to jump on a car and they just chill out and leave you alone, you can then jump of the other end of the car and off you go
Couldnt find much loot, think I found some porrige of some discription thats about all
Came across some survivors, most were reasonably friendly then i got chased around by a bloke with a base ball bat with nails in it for ages
Some of the bugs are comical and had me & my m8 ****** ourselves so it was a good laugh
All in all I think its "ok" and has potential to be "not too bad" when the worst of the bugs are fixed, but for all the similarities to dayZ I think they are going to be quite different games, this being more arcady and dayZ being more hardcore

That is one thing i noticed from the press videos a few weeks to months back. If you've played DayZ you'd know that one of its strengths was the weapons and tbh once you have experienced that is hard going back to a more arcadey weapon feel.
It looks as if the recoil, sound, bullet drop and feel of the guns are all wrong.
