insurgency mod

just had a quick go on a random server, i'm liking it, but at the moment, finding it hard to figure out where i am or where i have to go lol.

As far as i can tell at the moment it works like this:

Your commander can give squads certain commands. Your objective will be at the top and basically will either be (Defend Objective A/B/C or Attack Objective A/B/C).

Then for direction, at the top of your hud there should be a bar that moves as you rotate, find an icon, the two rectangles (captain symbol) show where your leader is, the swords represent an objective to attack and a shield represents an objective to defend. But they will not show you what level the item is on.

It will show you when you are at an attack objective how many more people are needed to capture and how long its taking once you have enough people.
 
Great game, I run under Final_Decapitation ...but my Steam will not sign in today, did once this morning, and now I've been trying all day and it says that I have a problem with my internet or with the steam network as it can't connect...yet it can tell if I enter an incorrect password.

Also my internet is fine, I rebooted my router, pc etc. no difference, and I can do all my normal internet things, just not Steam. :mad: :mad:

I find heading towards the gunfire is the best bet. :D I racked up about 200 points on one map with just kills and about an hour of play...great fun. :D

Cool game. I was actually sort of surprised at the performance, seemed to run a lot better than CS. The games nowhere near as fast as CS though so it might just be imagination.

Quite enjoyed playing, even though I had no clue what I was doing. Managed to get stuck in the walls a few times as well :(
