vexing question: if your friend has £250 to buy a GPU, can't wait for next gen, needs it to last at least a few years, requires good compatibility with older games and doesn't want to go second hand what would you recommend?
I had to deal with this earlier in the year so Arc wasn't a real option at the time but I'm not sure I've seen anything today that would have changed my suggestion.
No such thing as a bad product only a bad price etc...Because elsewhere in the world there is a significant price differential.
