Intel Core Ultra 9 285k 'Arrow Lake' Discussion/News ("15th gen") on LGA-1851

As CP2077 has been mentioned, here is a test run with a single P core and E cores (1 x P Core / 16 x E Core).

Here is just a bit of tinkering with the CPU, RAM is still stock (XMP)

If this is true, I think it could cost Intel's CEO his job. It's about TSMC, and the price Intel had to pay to fab. their latest CPUs on TSMC's 3nm:

Is it true that running with 8-P cores and the E-cores disabled, results in a significant improvement in performance on Arrow Lake CPUs?

As suggested here:

If so, how does a 285K with just 8-P cores enabled, compare to a 14700K or 14900K in games like Cyberpunk 2077, or Baldur's Gate 3?

RSR's CP2077 results above are in the ballpark of what I get with a 14700K but they have a 4090 Vs my 4080 Super which suggests AL is holding back the 4090.

To be fair he isn’t wrong. I would imagine there is more to it than that.
