I stand corrected. The retailers desciption is wrong then.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

I would like to order my new PC within the next week (E6600), but I wll consider holding off for a Q6600. An E6600 on OC is about £150...how much would a Q6600 be on OC come July 22nd?
I'm on 939, no hope there I think.bbspeed said:E6600 far and away better than a 3700
if you dont need to upgrade wait til the new AMD's and Intels are out at end of year

What price do you think the Q6600 will be in July?

(or when the price reductions hit).

For the high end CPUs it is very good (but the quad is already stupidly high in price).
The mid-range CPUs only appear to drop by ~£10 (e6540 & e6550) compared to the e6420.
e6420 is currently £113
e6450 will be $163-> £82 add on "over priced Britain" -> ~£90 - £100
Same chips just factory overclocked?
