But do you not agree UEFA had to stamp down on it. Someone had to be made an example of.

It's just unfortunate for you that Eduardo happens to play for the team you support.

Yet Young goes down twice the next day and not a mention. I don't mind him getting banned if everyone does.
 
Oh dear god, I now have absolute proof my mother understands nothing about football :D

She just asked me when the World cup will be, I said in 2010, she said yes but is it during the football season.......

She now cannot understand why I have tears streaming down my face from laughing so much :D :D

I love her but she hasn't got a clue bless her!
 
Bah, another World Cup campaign where Scotland flattered to deceive and ultimately fall short after a few decent performances and some extremely poor ones complete with the usual slice or three of bad luck and inept finishing. I can almost predict it by now as we follow the script so closely but I just keep hoping for the day that someone will ad-lib successfully and we'll be back at a Euro or World Cup final - not even to get beyond the group stages you understand, just to be there. :)

Did Young get booked? If not he should have received the same treatment.

It's pathetic to keep using it as an excuse though. Regardless, Eduardo dived.

Not really, it was not only the way that everybody's thrown him onto a bonfire, but the fact that he has been made an example. Surely to do that it's best to make an example of the many other players around who have a deserved reputation for simulation?

They're not going to stamp down* on it though, that's why people are taking issue with it. UEFA have admitted they won't bother video reviewing any more contentious decisions.

*Good choice of words when referring to an incident involving Eduardo btw :o.

But it had to happen to someone. There's no denying that.

Eduardo just got unlucky that UEFA were on their period.

Hopefully now we see more players get the same treatment.
