I don't understand why Young is playing off Carroll / in middle of attacking 3 has he ever done that in his life?! Just play the Ox!!

My knowledge of Jones isn't brilliant but i know United have played him in several different ways...is he most comfortable with RB?
I am quite surprised at this...are Norway genuinely quite defensive?

No idea. Only teams with a worse record against Norway are Brazil and Holland with 7 and 8 games without a win.

I think Jones is like Richards at right back. But attacking wise a bit better with the final product but defensively poorer.
downings bad but not as bad as some make out , he can certainly cross which i never thought capellos england could do and always thought they could always do with considering the attacking options.
hes a 'different' option but the problem for me is that adam johnson is better than him at everything he does

He's been played there quite a bit, they shift him around between RB and CB.

Probably yes until he gets the experience to play at CB. He did have a couple of dodgy RB performances towards the end of the season though.

Well in that case it will be good to see how Jones performs and whether SAF will push him more towards a RB role rather than a CB role.
I thought he was bought to be a CB but i am not going to lie, Jones confuses me.
