International matches 6th-10th **Spoilers**

Who was the tougher opposition than France that year then? Even though they put out all of the "Big" ones.

The fact that Buffon let in two goals the whole tournament, and ten different players scored all of Italys goals, thats a crap team?

And also, 7 of them were in the All-Stars squad that year.

Well maybe my comment about France is a brash one.

You can't deny Italy had an easy run up to the semi's and lets be honest. 2 wins away from winning the world cup? Any team can get motivated with that in mind.

Italy were poor in the Euros and lucky to surpass the group stages and relied on other teams results to get them through (believe it was holland losing)

I do not rate them as a international side. Condeding two goals would be down to

1) Playing 4-5-1, zzzzzzzzzz.

2) Having the best GK in the world

3) Predominantly easy opposition

Who do you rate then?

Pleat is such an idiot :( Not convincing from Walcott? It was going in with ease and Crouch just stood in the way. Ugh.

Erm he hit it straight at him, what do you think he could do, robo-crouch out of the way? The guy had almost the whole goal to aim at yet he shoots where his player is. He's certainly pacey, his technique lets him down though.

Decision making I'd accept, but technique isn't a weak point for him, I can't remember more than a few poor passes/first touches from him all evening, and he's often beaten 2 or 3 men to come up against another coming in. He is a player that needs a reasonable amount of space to play and obviously Andorra know that so have crowded him out tonight. He hasn't done much wrong tbh.

Edit - Sometimes I feel people forget that he's only 20, he arguably has about 7 years until he reaches his peak, he's still learning now and I'm absolutely certain he'll improve with age and experience, he still hasn't had close to a full league campaign, he needs that chance to settle I think.
