in a way yes but im happy to just be friends with him.
it may sound strange but he's the only one who I can really go to for advice on things and surprisingly out of all my friends he seems to be the one who knows me best.

haha, might work, you'd need to be a suave mother-fluffer to pull that off ;) otherwise you'd look a touch pretentious, or at least *I* would

I tend to go for the schoolyard playful tactics, metaphorical hair pulling, being cocky and funny, works a charm if you can pull off the right mix, thankfully i'm naturally cheeky :)
I managed to get my current GF at a friends house party, by exlpaining how to use her sleeping bag "there's a hole in one end, you get in there" ;D
I am possibly pretentious at times :p. I think the business card is a nice touch, if women aren't interested they won't call/email me. I'm more the serious type I tend not to be cheeky apart from with my family.

how were they wrong uns?

It's official, this one I now class as a wrong un too.

Went to the cinema and watched Public enemy, she was scared and jumpy at pretty much everything.. Ok bit silly but nothing to worry about I guess,

We walk out, head for the escalator to leave and she says I'll meet you at the bottom?
huh!
She heads off to the lift instead.
WTF!

Fear of going DOWN escalators, we came up it fine, but nope, she can't go down them. FFS.

I'm glad you mentioned business cards I keep forgetting to sort mine despite being there nearly 4 months. If i don't know my number what hope have I got giving it out lol

lol oh dear! Sorry shouldn't laugh but thats the funniest thing i've heard for a while!

I guess there are no warning signs that they might be a little ......"odd" ?! lol

 Snigger, thats a strange fear, what did you say to her afterwards?

"WTF is that about" (nice and subtle me :D )

Scared of getting caught up at the bottom and getting minced up like a meat grinder.

Is there ANYONE local who is just even a little bit normal out there who likes me:mad:

Wow, these last few pages are quite depressing! Everyone seems to be royally fed up.

Chin up peeps! At least you're trying, even if it's not the fruitful bounty that we'd all hope for. I'm ashamed with myself for giving up at such a young age. Ah well.

Nokin, if things still don't work out, there's always mail-order or the possibility of going on a rampage through the town-centre. :D

"WHY WON'T YOU LOOOOVVE MEE?!"

*smash*

I once dated a girl who was scared of chicken, chicken in all forms. Live and pecking, dead, in a sandwich, lovely and hot and ready for your sunday lunch...

Was a really strange person, good job she was dynamite in bed or our relationship wouldnt have lasted the whole two weeks that it did!

My sister in law has a fear of escalators, she can't decide when to get on/off and so has a panic attack.

I dated a girl who admitted one of her strangest qualities to me:-
she would see a word on a poster, and as she's walking, break the word into a number of steps, depending on how many letters there were in the word, and how much the letters could be broken up, for example "F" would be 3 steps, the vertical and 2 horizontal lines, "M" would be 4 steps "D" would be two steps etc, this was on the first date, so i thought it was cute and endearing, never effected us, but she actually turned crazy, lasted about 2-3 months.

erm... ok?

Very bizarre. Was it a form of OCD?

It was, it didn't control her though, it was only something if she thought about it she'd get caught up in it, but it was a strange thing to admit on our first date lol

though it's said that everyone has some minor form of OCD, or more obsessions over little details, but that's possibly something for another thread

A bit soon on the first-date I think, but better that then have an elephant in the room.
