Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

Hey, at least she doesn't take any of those myspacey angled shots that make her look like a size 8 and more attractive than she actually is. Her 'About Me' was truly cringe-worthy, though! :/

I am actually quite surprised at the amount of fairly attractive women that are on that site.

I made the mistake of getting too hyped up with that slovakian bird and i didn't act my most natural... and it cost me. And even that doesnt work sometimes, date i went on friday, asked me if i wanted to meet again, said yeah so we agreed on saturday lunch time, lunch time comes and she texts me, cant make it family comming down to visit, would like to meet again though another time. 2 hours later i get the usual its not you its me message and can we just be friends.

My only hope is that this sudden u-turn is due to her dad being ill currently and her mum going into hospital on monday as she was a great lass and we got on awesomely on friday.
 
It's taken me months to get a half decent profile together.
Unlike some of the other sites, POF is instant in the changes you make, so you don't have to wait for some moderator to view it before it becomes live..

I had something similar with a good looker not far from me, thought I was quids in. First date went great (had a chat and a cuppa in the Roccoco gardens, lovely day it was too.
Organised a meal out for the second date (her prompt not mine)
Met on the second, had a great meal, had a good chat and a cuddle in her car at the end of the night, when she said "want to meet again then" etc etc, I was quite shocked. :D
Get home, left it a day or so and mailed her "thanks etc" ... no reply!
Left it for the weekend and mailed her again. "You ok"
Her profile then disappeared off the site and I never heard from her again. :(

Well i guess one can only hope that she does remain in contact even just as friends because we had a wicked fun time friday, think if everything was ok at home with family it probably would have been a different story.

Her mum goes into hospital on saturday and hopefully that turns out fine and cheers her up.

Ok man but the worst thing you can do is keep texting her... no matter how hard it is to resist, DO NOT text her repeatedly if you don't get quick replies or she will run for the hills. Send her one good text saying you think she's great and want to see her again, and will give her some space to sort her head out with the family illness etc. Hopefully after that she'll be back in touch... just give her a bit of time. :)

Stuff like that must be annoying... but I guess they have their reasons. Who knows, they may have been a bit screwed in the head and you saved yourself some grief!
