Where are all these girls that are 'up for it'?! Christ on a bike the girls in my local area are the queens of 'Read, Deleted'
Ah better than what all mine seem to do, just leave it as Read. Must just keep it as it makes them feel happy they get messages, but they don't reply or delete

One girl I chatted to looked really nice in her photos, chatted to her, she added me on facebook and well, lets just say she'd put a few extra kilos on between her POF and facebook photos. At that point I thought 'sod this' and deleted my PoF and the hippo from facebook.
At present I'm quite happy being single and just seeing my friends. Maybe I'll pick up the online dating again some time but not on PoF I think.

I am getting about 15 - 20 messages a day from overgrown heifers who all have loads of kids! Not one I would go out on a date with. Admittedly there were a few sexy looking Polish girls with no kids but they are probably after all my money.

LOL - I've been on there for awhile now but its beginning to be a joke.
Any remotely attractive/interesting women just "read/deleted"
Most of the time get messaged by overweight women and women with kids (not that this is a show stopper - but anyone who puts a picture of them with their child on a dating site needs their head looking at) saying I want to meet you.... erm no thanks.
A couple of times got a conversation started only for the next reply to be "read/deleted". Like WTF? I being pleasant in my emails as well. A lot of the women say something like "Please don't message me with Hi how are you? etc.." so I even try a bit of wit but looks like POF women don't understand humour
Funny one was a iranian girl (not sure if profile is fake) who said her favourite place was bed... She read/deleted me and I asked why and she said sorry she was busy reading through 145 messages LOL - looks like a lot of women are on POF for self gratification or desperation (in the case of the obese or with children category).
I was on zoosk but refuse to pay for crap, only messages I got were from dubious profiles with bad english. Usually these profiles were deleted by the time I got around to looking so looks like some sort of con, so be careful.
Back to more traditional techniques of letting it happen naturally me thinks.
Dude, don't judge everyone by your standards. This might be ideal for some of us.
