Not really, my personal preference would be a tall woman.

I'm 5"11 / 6ft myself so it hasn't really been an issue. I doubt it would bother me, more to explore ;)

I use to prefer shorter girls when I was younger, certainly isn't the case anymore.

Had a good day though even with my bad head, we went for dinner and she cleared the plate only to have lots of coke, and say " I need cake, lets go for cake ". I was more interested in exploring the town, enjoying the lovely weather rather than constantly wanting food. Before or after we'd eaten!.

I'm happy with the way i am she says, i'm happy in myself now even though i can't fit in my jeans anymore. This was after i was talking about me quiting the gym ages ago, do enough walking as it is :D

So yeh Nice girl, lovely personality but i don't see her as GF material for me, too much extra poundage and well she does look the older woman.

I met a girl on POF after meeting two crazy ones off there a few weeks back and we seem to both get on really well and have loads in common. Seeing how it goes but early signs are good. I must admit I didnt think it would work but it goes to show it can if you meet the right person which granted isn't easy!

HOWEVER!

I went to my usual classes but down in east kent tonight, got talking to lots of people and this girl i made contact with she would look at me and I would look at her. We'd smile, she runs the class with another lady. I didn't talk to her specificly through the class until the end because we all sat around a large table. I helped her put the chairs away and not sure how it got going but she thought i was 18 lol, she was 36+. I'm actually 31 nearly 32 i just look young!. But she hinted she was single and i was too, i commented that she looked good for her age.

I said that i would come back to the class and do a talk about one of my hobbies, and i requested her facebook name. So we can chat up through there then more. We spoke more about other stuff too but that's private :p

So i know have a girl i'm interested in and she comes across that she does me :D and NOT through any dating site AGAIN

I'm 5"8 and I love my heels :D
My ex was 5"7 and I couldn't wear any heels. Never am I going to date anyone shorter than me again :o I once received a message on PoF from a guy that was 5"6 :/

I'm 5'6", it wouldn't even occur to me that messaging someone 5'8" would be a problem. If it bothers you mention it in your profile, simples. :)
 
Im 5'6 and have to admit I got for taller guys... Mischeif - saw a guy on POF and he was 6ft6!!!

That's a whole foot taller than me.. bit TOO tall I think!

This new girl/woman I liked her in person... But the facebook photo's of her, well.. I know she is some 6years older than me but she looks like the older woman. I don't fancy the girl in the photo's at all!, she must've used good makeup when i saw her at the class even though I'm 31, she's nocking on 38 :p

Almost an instant turn off, is this normal? , maybe i'm having difficulty with the older woman :(
