@ Orange Peel, sounds like she's used to getting her own way. Might be worth persisting for a bit? She's obviously got issues but there may well be reasons for that. :)

Got a "meet up" with a girl on Monday, we were supposed to meet up tomorrow but I've had laser surgery this week and been advised to rest so my eyes heal as much as possible.

Going for a coffee then either the cinema or bowling/miniature golf. I'll admit I'm very nervous as it's my first date in a long long time. Any tips for me? :p
 
I updated my profile on POF today. Put some more effort in, bit more personality seeing as my nets were coming up empty.

Almost instant result, up pops the chat window. Ah great I thought.

Basically:

Her - Hey, your cute. I love guys with glasses.
Me - Thanks
Her - So do you want to go out on Saturday, you're buying.
Me - I'm busy
Her - Here's my number...
Me - ok

Chat for a while then it all turns to her ex bf's and how they abused her etc. It was very forward, but entertaining initially. Why tell people stuff like that when you don't even know them?

That would be my take on it. Fed up with pampering women with a sense of entitlement tbh, I won't stand for that sort of thing these days! :p

Well I had a date last night, went very well. I didn't get much of a word in edge ways, but I wasn't bothered and found her pretty interesting. Possibly thinking a little but to much with my second brain there. :D
We have arranged another date but not for a week which is a shame, but I think I'm onto a winner, because she said several times without realising about friends I would end up meeting :D
 
Lol, man. I had already switched off.

When I didn't type anything she kept saying "mwah" "I like you". She kept swearing and telling me how she had a day off work, but was doing sweet F A. That's always a big turn off.

Thing is I would rather be alone than with someone that is irritating or needs to be pampered, as you say.

I have many many stories I've not told yet.

The girl who was 3 times the lady she was in her pictures was a classic. Also, the women who thought sending me over 20 naked pictures of herself in a variety of poses would convince me to take her on a date.

I can feel another PoF account on the cards sometime soon ;)
