Slow day at work so I thought I'd sign up to POF and have a look about, send some random tall girl who looks like fun a message so I'll wait and see. Never done any internet dating so it should be interesting to see what happens.

Id consider doing this but if my friends found me out trying to hook up on an online dating site, and saw my profile I would never hear the end of it! LOL. But I suppose this begs the question as to why any of my mates would be searching for a dude on a dating site!
I use to think that but after talking to a few friends they didn't take the **** as much as I'd been expecting, I honestly think that internet dating is becoming more accepted as a way to meet potential partners.
Plus if they were looking on dating sites it would most likely be for the same reason you are so they couldn’t say too much! Just sign up with a random profile to look at people and see if anyone takes you're fancy, if so make a proper profile and get messageing, if not then no harm and no one finds you're on a dating website.

i've thought about internet dating recently, but going by the last three blokes ive met that way its sort of put me off. to be honest its put me off dating full stop lol. just cant seem to find any decent guys, the only ones that show interest are only after one thing.

I fell slightly ashamed of being a guy hearing that a couple of simple minded blokes has put you off dating full stop.
[But since there is a little lol at the end, hopefully there is a tiny bit of hope that they have not succeeded! ]I can only speak for myself though when I say that with age comes wisdom and you start to appreciate many more attributes when it comes to the opposite sex then "one thing"!
