I officially give up on the fruit cakes...

Now this to me looks like an ad where someone is genuinely searching for a relationship

SO we get chatting and move to MSN, bit of small talk about nothing really but it is all flowing pretty well, I come out with some great retorts to a couple of her questions, then I go in with this

Just had a little browse and to my surprise a hot girl had this:

I take it you've never been to Brighton then? :p

I go to Uni here and I don't know a single lessa.. But a handful of homos..

which means more choice for me.. :p

If you'd ever been to Brighton you'd know there's plenty of fish to go round..;)

You can usually spot the odd ones out a mile off :)

As I used to be quite shy I've done all sorts of these dating things over the years.

Tried a dating site once and didn't meet anyone maybe my fugly picture ruined that.

Met a few girls via chatrooms but nothing ever came of it.

Stopped using chatrooms for years then randomly got talking to a girl in a liverpool chatroom of all places and met up and it's all going great.

Moved in together and have been with her for 18 months now, I don't even get shouted at for not keeping my boys room clean.

I think the funniest date I had was off a lonely harts ad in the paper when she did a runner after going to the loo. Apparently I kept staring at her chest but that's what they are there for isn't it.

Oh and a couple of creepy ones off the net, one who turned out to be married who's husband rang me up saying he was going to break parts of me.

And another I spoke to for three years who never met me so could have been married or young for all I know lol.

I've never done the internet thing myself, never needed to but to be honest the more I hear about it the more I get the impression everyone doing it is a complete nutjob, misfit, social retard or otherwise unable to maintain a normal healthy relationship with others hence they flock to the net in home of finding someone who can actually put up with them.

If you're having trouble meeting people, why not ask friends or family to introduce you to someone instead of taking your chances with some random freakshows? Seems a bit old fashioned I suppose but you're more likely to meet someone decent as they've been vetted already by people you know.

What is wrong with a polite no thanks then?
I know women are a different bloody species and all that but Quite how I'm supposed to read "I WANTED A CHAT" and turn it into "GO AWAY YOU FREAKSHOW" I have no idea????
