Indeed. I'm a proper geek and she wouldn't be seen dead with me. Oh and I use the word banter so I wouldn't get on with her either apparantly. The word geek is misused a lot I found, when I was looking through profiles.

Annoys me when people are referred to as Geeks for such minor use of tech. :mad:
Moby phone a Facebook account & instant messaging does not make you a Geek. :mad: + :p


Also she has Straw hair that is dyed & pointy elbows so would not bang. :p (Lies but I'd prob be arrested & nonced off :eek:)

Yep, hate this too, the geek part.

I am a geek, I work in IT, live and breathe geeky things. I play far too many games, I have several silly OCD things, such as making the bed prestine before I can leave the room haha. Would rather stay in on the weekends to try new games that have been released, consistantly tweaking, upgrading and messing around with computer hardware, home cinema software, tv settings etc etc

A 'popular' version of a geek is someone who wears meme's on tshirts, big fake glasses and 'likes' old games they have never played...

"I played mario ALLLLL the time when I was a kid, I'm such a geek!!!"

I want off this planet.
 
She may well love 'proper geeks', just not if you look like one :p. I know a few attractive girls like that that are full blown nerds but that doesn't mean they'd date a fat neckbeard.
 
Used to date a Norwegian when WoW came out. She was a full blown addict that dressed Goth and played a Combat rogue. She'd be in the kitchen with two knives imitating her character's moves.

Those were magical times :(

It got a bit much for me when she wanted me to call her by her character's name. 'Sharpa' or something. Can't remember exactly. Then the little things, like, you know, watching her play pretty much 48 hours a weekend and 7 hours a night during the week. It only lasted so long because she was amazing in other areas (yes, wink wink) but also a genuinely good person.

Anyway. Good times.
