and you're a pro at it? :D yes women do get a lot of messages and sometimes they just can't be bothered replying to those that look "ok" to them, they choose the ones that they like the most and keep on chatting with them. - just my theory :) i know some girls and a lot of them simply ignore because they can't be bothered replying - which again is odd, why would they be on the dating site in the first place lol.

Yup, it's hardly complicated logic, and this gets repeated around every 50 posts now. Women like attention from all men, but the ones they will make an effort with are simply the ones they find most interesting or attractive. if a woman who was talking to you suddenly stops talking to you for no reason, then she has inevitably found someone she thinks is more interesting and better looking than you. That's all there is to it. Accept it, people. :p

get a Thai one instead as at least she will be grateful for what she has... whereas the cold Russian will have cleaned you out and be gone within a year or two. :p
 
Met a lovely young lady on POF last December, after 2 years or dating after myself and my wife (soon to be ex wife) separated..We have 2 lovely young boys 5 - 6 and we still get on well but wanted different things...

Anyway I have now purchased a house with my girlfriend and we are looking forward to moving in together and being happy again (she separated from her husband around the same time I split from my wife) she has no children but doesn't mean to say we won't! :D

I have some funny memories of POF and if it wasn't for that site (being busy at work and having as much time as possible with my sons) I didn't want to do the whole drunken bar chat up scene again so it worked perfectly for me....

Talking to one girl on pof, and something is really bugging me!

After every sentence- this happens- every time- The little hyphon- no space- !! Arghhhh
 
Good thing about POF etc are that when the women you have "Interviewed" in the past get single again they contact you for some quick relief. :D
I got 2 Doris that I "interviewed" a while back contacting me asking me to go over again.
Can I be ***** to go over again ? NO. :p
 
I've been trolling on POF this past week. I messaged mostly HB6+ girls but I've learned when it comes to online dating, you can automatically add 2 points to any girls hotness rating.

I picked something out of their profile or photos and sent stupid (attempted humour) messages to about 30 girls in the 24-31 age range (I'm 30). I got a few replies - some of the smart ones said they laughed, some of the thick ones didn't get it. For example, in one profile this girl put this in her profile (after I roll my eyes at her use of "random"):

I have an occasional flare for trying new random things.

So I sent:

"I too have an occasional flare but only when signalling ships at sea."

She didn't get it. She was an HB6.

Naturally most girls just didn't reply. I've had far more success from cold approaches in the shops or on the train. I get phones numbers from HB5 and HB6 on every other attempt but with online dating, even the average looking ones won't even speak to you. I messaged a few munters and they all replied.

Holy shizzle, that's just cringe worthy. You kinda sound like the male equivalent of them tango'd blondes wearing ugg boots and non-prescription glasses. You know, a small minority, but enough to bring societies opinion of the whole gender down.

Stop reading american pick-up books, that kind of stuff only works in America. Your messages sound very... forced, trying to be funny when you're not is more of a turn off than not actually being funny.

Here's an idea, no matter what you say on the initial message to someone, they'll either reply or not. Online Dating allows people to be more than particular about who they wish to date. Being the pick-up master you sound like, you should know this. Women (and men) look for certain things in a partner, social status, wealth, security, excitement, looks etc. Now, if you're not getting replies then you either haven't demonstrated on your profile that you have all of those qualities that person is looking for, or more than likely you don't actually have them.

So what can you do?! Yes, you could try and come up with some more awesomely funny opening messages in the hope one catches them unawares! Or, you could work to improve the said qualities above, and look to better yourself, and in the process maybe just maybe you'll meet someone with the same mind-set.
 
you know why im rubbish at this! is because i can't even be bothered to reply back to the messages i get.. and even if i do its probably so boring the convo doesn't last.
