Yeah we'll see what happens, its always the case of does the conversation and how you get along translate in person. Just going to go for a nice casual drink which is always good to get to know each other better.
Though PoF as it is works fine but I do find it quite funny how many people are paying for the "serious member" thing on their profiles.

It's not that many actually. Markus has been upgrading profiles for free to promote the 'service'.
This thing about girls having an average figure is hilarious. The problem is overweight girls do fall in to the average category these days. It's just a bit misleading as you don't think about it this way. The myspace angles are constant.
I'm not being a **** by the way, I just prefer slim girls because I am a slim guy.
I'm fed up with match.com now as well. Response rates are horrendous in comparison to POF. Once my membership there expires.... never again.
You are correct about the average thing, you have the balance of girls who dont want to put slim or what not and then you have the girls who dont want to put "a few extra pounds".
Thats when full length shots become a must in terms of finded a girl on there if you really are concerned about the size...I for one am

I've been single for nearly a year now and I'm thinking of getting back onto the dating scene. Thing is I wouldnt know where to start with writing a profile lol!

There are a few apps, most of which suck. However, I went on 'are you interested' which flashes up pictures or people. Clicked yes on a few and had some replies. One of which is going very well.
Other than that I've had a good run of people randomly sending a friends request or email. Currently exploring a few of those

Number 3, sent the usual "Hi, how's you" message which I really dislike. If you can't be bothered to write a little bit I can't be bothered to reply.
One thing I've found though is most get really clingy even after a couple of emails. God knows what they're like after you've met them! I'm going to change my 'looking for' from long term to dating to see what that brings.
As bad as it sounds I'm quite enjoying playing with some of the women who love themselves a little too much. You view their profile then move on only to get an email saying "Hey, you looked at me but didn't send a message" How much of a big head do you have to be to say something like that. Currently I've got one lady on the hook who can't write a message without fishing for compliments. It's a challange to reply to her without playing her game while keeping her interested enough to write back

You are at UNI and you are using PoF to meet chicks, /sigh.
Well considering im doing an Architecture post grad the oppurtunity isnt great at times with the amount of time spent working....kinda stuck in your own department. Plus the Union is littered with stupid 18 year olds....not that its always a bad thing
Plus Fendi it's not a bad way to meet girls at all, dont knock it until you've tried, plus there are plenty of arguments about the benefits of getting to know them this way rather than in bars and clubs. Plenty of students on there doing exactly the same thing.
