Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

Signed up to POF, I made a temporary profile (No text filled in just "Will fill this in later").
Already have two people messasing me from the Island awaiting my details, man... desperate or I don't know!

Good looking though, they will probably find me an eyesore :(
 
OMG what a day!

The short story goes like this.

Got an email from someone who's intelligent, good looking, witty and who genuinely seems like a nice women.

Replied, received another email, replied, received another email then time for home so waited till I got home before replying. All emails were detailed and in depth covering loads of topics. Really hitting it off etc.

Time from last email to me starting a reply = 40 minutes.

Get home to find another email from her saying how she doesn't want to be messed around and how she's analysed our emails and concluded that I'm just another time waster! Funny thing is I've spent more time on these emails than I have on any other.

So folks, even the nice women can turn out to be complete nut jobs!

To make it even more disastrous. I replied explaining that I have to drive home, then went to mow the lawn. Get's back 20 minutes later to find two more emails. The first saying how she's not apologising (not that I asked her to) and that she's never wrong and the second a few minutes later saying that she knew she was right about me as I'd not replied straight away.

It seems the ONLY way to satisfy these crazy women is to be sat at your PC all day long and reply ASAP!

Turning gay is starting to look more appealing. At least you don't get this kind crap from a bloke lol.

TBH it's too much hard work, especially having to type pages and pages of emails to explain things. The trouble is she's a very switched on nut job so even when I'm letting her down gently she analyses it and come back with something unbelievably believable about not being a nut job!

I wish I had the ball to just block her rather than reply to her!
 
Tell her straight that you think she's got a screw loose.

She could just be giving you some form of perverted test to be honest. I wouldn't put it past her! :p

I'd imagine it's easier to buy presents for your OH if you're gay.... alcohol, gadgets, or tickets to some sporting event. Women are just impossible to buy for :p

I still don't fancy someone's blue veined porridge gun battering down my back door though, thanks.

Update....

I decided to play along as such. She's now all apologetic and ending her emails with Love [name] xxx

WTF. She's blocked/deleted/ex-directoried!!!!
