what I've possibly learned is 2nd date you should think about the mood you want to set. Do you want to set a mood to be friends or up the ante a bit to something more "romantic" / intimate. there's no right or wrong answer I don't think, but worth thinking about....

im thinking something simple like a romantic meal or drinks in a nice bar for my second date. was thinking about doing bowling, but i thought that then might drop me into the friend zone.....and ive been king of the friend zone in the past and dont fancy going back there! haha
but said girl originally said no to going out to dinner for our first date so im wary of asking about dinner again and also struggling to think of alternatives

ive been to that indian, its quite nice! can be quite pricey though, and im majorly skint this month, maybe the kfc is the more affordable option! haha
the china garden near the indian is really nice aswell and could be a contender for date material!

PLAN! Walk her along the same side as the indian, stop outside and mention how nice the place looks. She will agree and get excited that she's going to get wined and dined like a true 'princess' at which point you grab her hand, cross the road into KFC and get her WHATEVER she wants..... money is no object here or you will fail. Sit at the window facing the indian and enjoy the blissful silence.

i roughly have about £15-20 left till the 25th so i guess i can stretch to a bargain bucket!!
or if money gets tighter, i could always take her to cost cutter for a romantic apple and can of coke!

but the girl ive met seems smart, shes out every weekend drinking though... but hey i cant judge, if i had people who went out at the weekend im sure i would be out drinking aswell!
