Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

pasty smashing sounds like its on the table ;)


so this saturday, have plans to meet up with the girl for a second date, going to meet up in town during the day hopefully.
shes also suggested i go out with her on the Saturday for a few drinks with a couple of her friends.....i want to go, only thing putting me off is im not exactly good with people i dont know and see myself stood around looking like an idiot!
also i dont even know if i can afford to go out drinking AND afford the taxi home!

At your age I'd have thought you'd live with your parents if not halls. If you live alone, once you get past the initial dating stage, most woman will be happy with hanging out at yours with occasional outings.

i do still live with my mum, but she still charges rent, no where near as much as it would be to live by myself though.
the girl im meeting lives alone in her own place, shes 20 aswell and has a relativity good job, once i get past this first year of work ill be on decent money.
hopefully this whole dating stuff will get cheaper soon! also its payday next weekend so i should be better off aswell haha

My tip to you would be not to smash her pasty on her first time around your house as you would set a routine of pasty smashing every time she comes over. On the other hand there is nothing stopping you having a good smooch and a fumble if it gets that far. She will respect you more for being able to hold off going all the way, so the next time you see her she will be previously teased and hopefully gagging for it :D

i think this is the more sensible option! most girls think guys are only after one thing, and if you dont smash the pasty on the first time round then she will think your one of the good guys and will set the tone for the relationship that you actually want to be with her not just for pasty smashing :)

I've used this approach before, it works well. Though it is not just a 'method' I've used for the pure purpose of getting a leg over, it's something I agree with.

That said 'gagging' for it tends to be an understatement the next time you see eachother :p anticipation is powerful ;)

I was messaging a girl a few towns over but it began to feel like a bit of hard work and I wasn't getting much personality out of her. I didn't want to ask 'good' questions as it'd have left nothing for a first date.

That said she hasn't responded to my last message for a few days (I'm not sat there clock watching don't worry) which is probably for the best.
 
Ahhhh So far it's girl's that fancy me but I don't fancy them! The ones I do fancy, don't fancy me :( One day I'll meet a girl that we both end up sparking!

Watching Dating in the dark shows me some are far more fussy than I thought I was lol
 
Right so do what I was going to do anyways? Phew! Its a girl I'd want a relationship with so didn't want to rush into anything and ruin it. Saying that after this weekend I might not be seeing her a for couple of weeks as I'm away on holiday and then she's on holiday the week after (talk about bad timing).

think even if i do go out into town with this girl this weekend and she invites me to stay afterwards, i wouldnt do anything other than kissing/fumbling. even though im not after pasty smashing, she will think i am if i was to do it, its been a fair few months for me, 1-2 weeks isnt gunna hurt! haha

You don't need to worry about this. If a girl sleeps with you, just calling them asking them for another date will dispell any "he was only after one thing" feelings. Personally, I'd take what I can get, assuming I wanted it.

I went out and met my current girlfriend in town when she was out with her mates and I was with mine. Most of the night we stayed together chatting, having fun, and I think she wanted me to go home with her and do the deed. We both liked each other and it was clear we did. Her friends asked if I was going home with her, and I said 'No'... They were shocked that I could have had it that night, a dead cert in fact, and I turned it down. I said 'I like her a lot and I respect her, and I don't want the first time we do it is when we are both drunk'. I made sure that my girlfriend overheard, and I got so much kudos for that and won her friends over too ;) Obviously I wanted her to remember the first night of passion too, so it was best we weren't both drunk haha!!

that was also my thinking! would rather be there sober for the first time than plastered! haha

my main predicament for this weekend is standing around like a loner and embarrassing myself, none of the few friends i have are out or wont go out. if some of my friends were out id agree to it as if something went wrong or i got lost, i could always go off with them. just scary fact that, im going somewhere i dont really know, with girl i dont really know all that well yet, with her friends who i dont know either....
part of me thinks just do it, it will do you good! and the other scared side is just playing out all the bad scenarios that could happen! :confused::confused:

The problem is not only will you be on your own, but also you will have to win her friends over too. It is hard enough task winning her over let alone a bunch of drunk clucking mother hens haha. My suggestion is either go out with a group of your friends too as they can act as wingmen and distract the friends while you spend time with the lady. Or cancel going out :D

none of my friends will come out.....
hopefully meeting up during Saturday day time so ill most likely make my decision then depending on how it goes.
 
i wouldn't like to the idea of going to town with her friends on date 2 as, at least for me, i tend to mingle with lots of people when out so it'd be almost pointless that she's there, and if you don't mingle then what's the point of going out with her friends, however now she's invited you i wouldn't say no as it'll be something she thinks about all the night. nothing bad will come of it though, if she doesn't help make you feel comfortable as it's her fiends then that's her mistake.
 
Girl wants to go out with me on a second date, she said as such. So I try to set a time and place and all I get is " Maybe we could go out again some day, not sure when though, will let you know "

Seriously people stop playing mind games! If you want to go out with someone, make the effort to do so!
