was a nice evening, ended up going for pizza instead.
then she suggested we went to see man of steel! which was awesome!
but tbh, i didnt feel "it" or the spark or whatever, she seems like the person i would love to have as a friend!

Went out on a date today, it went really well. She was nice, i liked her and I felt we really connected, there was no silent bits either. I just hope at the end of this she feels ok enough to go for a second date. I have asked for a second and I had a wonderful time. Hopefully she replies

Though i'm not sure what the signs are anymore, it doesn't matter how well a date went, hell you could be kissing by the end of it. Unless she wants that second date, the bloke is screwed

Yep I think guys are much more realistic expectations/patience wise generally speaking.
I personally don't expect there necessarily to be "fireworks" straight away. For me that's something that develops over time, which doesn't appear to be the view of many people......

When I watch certain dating shows it seems women want "Fireworks" on the first date or nothing, there is no second chance. Yet I see nice looking ladies around town walking around with men that are wearing tracksuit bottoms, scruffy tops and I ask myself why. It starts to make the bloke like myself feel really ugly! Like I have something wrong with me
