Yeah but I ain't looking for anything serious and it comes across a bit needy when a girl asks this before even meeting up.
There's some absolute crazy's on here and I'm sure some of them are trolls. I had a big made girl message me saying "I like you but I'd only want sex", I replied "No thanks, Jeff" as a joke and she wrote a full blown reply back thinking I had insinuated she was a man, started making threats towards me

No it scans your Facebook to make your profile and then shows you people in your area and tells you how many common interests you have. And mutual friends.You just click whether you like them or not and can message any mutual matches.

Met pof last night, pretty young thing, only thing that seems annoying so far is she asks loads of questions in txt messages, that annoys me, not sure if thats me being stupid.

Much better she asks loads of questions than one of those who makes no effort to ask anything, or offer an answer than helps keep the conversation gong without it feeling like your pulling teeth.

I would say that is a good thing personally. Shows she is making an effort! Before I met mines we spent 2 weeks asking many questions in chat/text/phone before we met (a dynamic I was not used to) and it was good.

Guys, POF or OkCupid? A lot of people talk about POF, but I prefer the look and feel of OkCupid.
I can obviously just use both equally, but since discovering OkCupid I've barely touched POF.

I found OkCupid was loaded with weirdo bisexual chicks that drink blood, turn into werewolves (well one I spoke to says she does), attend orgies in church crypts and want open relationships. POF is full of obese 20 something mothers with 4 kids each, bad tattoos and horrific spelling/grammar/education.
I'd take my chances on OkCupid if I were you.
They tend to do it to keep the conversation away from them. I used to have a date that done the same thing. I stopped replying to her stupid messages.

For me POF is much better. I have never had a date from OKC and hardly even any chat at all. POF 8 dates, Match 2.
Officially closed my POF now, met a girl who if I had met in real life I would have been all over, we're having the best time at the moment and I'm grinning like a kid in a sweet shop about her!
