I dont want a partner thats wheelchair bound? If she would have said that in her profile then yeah ok....but not lead me on to ask her to whip her off her foot and run into the distance!

I want someone thats going to be active and a get up and go type :p Climb mountains, dance the night away!

May sound harsh, but thats what i'm after..

That's why its not listed as she will want people see past the wheelchair and see her. Personally makes no difference to me but if your wanting someone to climb mountains with I guess its a no go

Arhhh, ive been chatting on and off all evening now, got on really well and shes just told me she is in a wheelchair! :o

In her position i would probably do the same.

Maybe she was tired of all the people immediately dismissing her.

It cant be easy for someone in that position to find a partner, i guess she was hoping that if she started talking to person x for a bit and then told them they might be able to look past it.

It would have been amusing if you got to the point of arranging a date with her and she turned up in a wheel chair. It would make for a good OCuK dit :p

If she was looking to decieve you, she would have left it until that point.

Whilst I'm sure you won't be a **** about it, please don't let her think it's about the wheelchair. Life is hard enough without the horror that is a wheelchair. She dosen't need jip because of it.

And who knows? Maybe is the sweetest person in the world? (Actually one of the reasons why I wouldn't bother with such a site, it's to much like a market place, it's all about stats and less about that first spark....)

Oh come on, it's just a different method of introduction. The 'stats' are irrelevant once you actually meet, then as with any first meeting it's about the spark.

Whats the problem, shes got the same feelings as any other woman, and wants a partner, not a carer.

I'm pretty sure you can understand why it could be a problem for others.

I don't really get the whole excuse you came up with in the second paragraph, it would bother me if I found out someone had a disability such as this, as it's something I'm simply not looking for.

Nobody said finding the right person is easy, but keeping important information out of the light until a connection is made is not something I would appreciate. Whilst I don't understand her position I can show some empathy towards her having a cousin in the same position, she will go through the same difficulties in her life.

As you said, it'll sound harsh to others, but it's my and I'm sure many others choice.

edit: Ray, I skimmed your profile and it seemed OK, although I would remove the first 2 pictures or at least make the 3rd pic your main. I did have a little chuckle when I noticed you're 32 and the requirements for anyone to message you must be within 20-32. (35 is to high, eh?)

a 32yr old dating a 20yr old? :o:p:D

Haha, I'm sure you've posted pictures of you and the same girl a couple of times and I'm sure you mentioned one.

Suppose it's always better to be free and single with all those weddings you go to... them women's urges must be off the chart. ;) :D

The brunette? It's complicated but I am choosing to distance myself from her for a while. She's not good for my head as I realise and she needs time alone too. We are still friends, she still send me messages from time to time but I don't have plans to see her again at the moment, as friends or otherwise.

As for weddings, lol I work! It would be good if to meet women if I am one of those who don't work and use the time to flirt but forurately my work ethics won't let me :)

Had a date last night, not great. Nice girl but I found her pretty dull and there was no chemistry. Found myself watching the clock which is really bad. I just really couldn't think of anything to say to this girl, and once I'd exhausted asking her about herself (thankfully she liked to talk about herself) things got a bit dry. I was happy when it was over.

I don't think of myself as a boring person at all, but I hate those dates when you feel like the other person expects you to justify yourself to them. It's like just because I don't really enjoy going to the latest tate modern exhibitions then I'm boring! Couldn't think of anything more boring to be honest! :D

Yeah that's the one. Ah okay fair enough, bloody women who needs 'em.

Could always do half a days work and some some reason all your flashes decide to break or you've got a smudge on the lense. Obviously only at venues where there is a free bar & food. :D
