Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

so do I just ignore or reply and say I'm not interested? If I reply, would that not just be like rubbing salt in the wound and make him feel silly??
Just ignore, it's the done thing. I try and put as much effort into personalising a message to a person as I can, but it's not the end of the world if it gets ignored. I've done it enough times myself! It's all part of the game :)

Have a little respect for the guy and send him a quick reply. Being ignored is really crap, I hate it and would much prefer to receive 'thanks but no thanks' emails than nothing.

He's probably sent that to a whole slew of girls hoping that something hits. I don't think he's going to be offended if MisChief doesn't reply.

she looks like she gets hammered a lot

Not to ask a stupid question but what type of photos give you that impression? Most of my FB pics are from nights out (which happen every couple of months or so - other than that I don't go out) but it would be interesting for me to get an idea of what can be perceived as constantly getting hammered in case that's how people think i am :p

Neil79 must look like Brad Pitt o_O

Always seems to be on a date! lol

Hey, not every girl fancies Brad Pitt. I really don't see the attraction in him. (Brad that is, I don't know what Neil79 looks like :p)

Personally I always try to send a quick reply to let them know I'm not interested. Although it's swings and roundabouts really.
You could get someone who you ignore and they then message you again or you could message them saying you're not interested and they reply asking why.

I tend to just keep it brief and say something like "thanks for the email. You sound like a nice guy but I don't think we would be a good match. Good luck in your search :)"

I did previously have a guy who left it at that then messaged me further down the line so I just said back that I was getting to know someone and didn't want to confuse things by meeting someone else at that stage..blah blah. (which if I recall was sort of true...)

Also....I'd be careful what you quote on the forums :p

It's actually just reminded me of something from a couple of years back. I had a few guys who were not my type at all. I mentioned one on here and someone else who had messaged me around the same time as him was also from ocuk, saw my post and thought I was talking about him. I then had a few messages from him having a right go at me about it. Wasn't him but he clearly thought it was.

As for the long email quoted above, I can understand people saying erm in person but why type it  Feel quite sorry for the guy really as he obviously needs to build his confidence up but that email is really putting himself down :( bless

Had a date last night, not quite as hot as her pics but cute as hell and we share way too much in common. Both got way too drunk but I bought every drink, grrr meant to be saving for hols. Lots if kissing action, most likely seeing her again this week while I am in Leeds.

Tons and tons of alcohol stacked up in the house, photo's of her laying in the street or crashed out on the floor covered in sick. You check the dates and see it's pretty much every week. I also nearly dated a girl once till i saw her Facebook photo's, a right chavette! and the family was . Facebook photo's can tell you a lot about a person :)
