anyone tried speeddater?

used to have a profile on pof but gave up. Did get some interest but i was having to work like a trojan to keep the conversations going. The usual, seems a lot of women are just on there to be entertained. Only once on pof did a woman msg me first.

Typically though this was the level of thought put into it......

Signed up to PoF and made a brief profile but haven't bothered with it really. There's something about internet dating which puts me off.

I just binned my PoF profile, gonna give all this a rest for a bit I think. I figured out having spoken to a few girls, met one and chatted to a few on FB that I'm really not over my Ex and have relentlessly compared all of these girls to her. None of them will win at the moment and it doesn't seem fair on them, not least that fact it's wasting both our time.

I've come across a few guys who were like this as well and didn't ask any questions. I can't be bothered to talk to these kind of people.

Now that the chance of meeting someone in any of my current social circles seems unlikely I thought I'd give this a go. Been following the thread a while tempted by the idea, but finally got round to signing up.
