Well I have found a young lady who is not only pretty but has a geeky side, is intelligent and wants long term. Getting on like a flammable substance on fire. Meet soon. :D

Someone who likes games. Whether it's Resident Evil or The Sims.

I've just signed up of PoF... figured I might aswell give it a go. Seems there's no decent women round here similar to me. Most of them complain during the week and just get rat arsed at the weekend. I'm looking for something a bit more than that.
 
Hmm maybe I should mention that in my profile then. I like games, don't know a lot about computers but know how to use one and fix general issues."have you tried turning it off and on again" :D

Half way through watching star wars for the first time too :)

It depends what sort of guy you want to attract I guess.
I'm sure most members of this forum would be looking for a somewhat geeky girl, but it could be a turn off to some guys as well.

Something involving someone green eyed, no awkwardness, who holds my gaze steadily across the table...who is someone whom is not my lesser or my better but my equal-someone who I feel pitted against who has equal merit....who makes the conversation somewhat of a challenge...someone who makes me use up all my resources against them so that I am not belittled by them.
This all makes sense to me and if you are someone who understands what I am saying then you are the type of person that I would be happy to be contacted by.

Think i'll give up for awhile :(

End up with women who can't carry a conversation on a dating site ie one liners yet i've put plenty across to get a conversation flowing. But i also get women who will never talk on the phone and a simple hey this me blah blah give us a call back on answer machine and they never do!. I've spoken to this girl over facebook for atleast week now, she was brilliant on dating conversations back and forther we even set up for a date next week. She won't answer the phone and no I don't call every day as that's bad!, I left a message this morning to call me back as she did text me how i was and was i having a good day. Yet i came online and she was on FB :(

Don't get me wrong I hate the phone but i would like to atleast hear her voice, am i doing something wrong?. Have any of you spoke on the phone after you've got their number?
 
Why do you need to talk to them on the phone? Most people find that akward, the two that I met I never bothered ringing them. Not only did I not see a need but I didn't want them to feel even more nervous.
 
Having an actual phone call is a next step. It's so much easier for most to text or chat online. I'd probably only speak to a chick once or twice before an actual date occured I reckon.
