Sorry, one of those would be me as I thought I'd just forgotten to add you with a view to messaging later once got a chance to look at the profile again. I haven't however messaged you, joke or otherwise! Looking at the last message, I fear it might be a serious attempt at making first contact! :D

Looks like a typical line from the dating advice site / PUA. It's succeeded at what it's designed to do as well which is get you thinking about him in some way regardless if it's negative or not as your more likely to read his next message now.

But luckily you've got me to be an utter **** blocking ****! :p
 
So just had an inpromptu first date, a girl msg me saying she was bored so i said why not come out with me and a friend, she came to the pub and saw a band, not sure if she was just shy or was dis-interested but was a bit awkward and nothing really clicked. will keep you posted, she was attractive but didnt feel it. NEXT :P
 
I've thought about it, but never actually done it.

I did meet my ex online through MySpace; went on there to delete it, and she was on my friends list. No idea who she was, so I asked, and we got talking.

It didn't work out.

I should try online dating. I don't go out clubbing or anything, so I don't really meet many people... :/

Those of you who have recently done it for the first time: how was it? :D
 
It's hard for me, I'm 6 foot 3 and most girls I seem to meet on the site are around 5 foot maybe 5'4 if I'm lucky. Met one a while back who said she was 6 foot 1 but I reckon she was 5'10 at a push.

Life is funny sometimes...There is this girl who back in 6th form I had a HUGE crush on but too shy to make a move back then.

Fast forward 10 or so years.

I ran into her in a pub just before christmas and thought what the hell and asked her out so had a couple of dates with back at the start of the year but then gave me the "I'm busy right now, may be some other time". So I didn't text her since, plus I've been rather busy.

4/5 months on

So...she just texted me! "hey, i'm in Starbucks right now and it reminded me of you, fancy a coffee some time?"

If that was me I would be gravitating to the idea that she is messing about a bit. "I'm busy right now, maybe some other time" is such a poor excuse.
