How did date 2 happen or did i miss that part! hah

I have 2 potetentials on 2nd dates right now but finding time mutually seems to be a major issue, so i was actually pleased when this one turned out to be a no-brainer, still i did message a few more people last night when i got home, no idea why.. i had told myself that im not best suited at juggling dates

Went to a steakhouse at what I thought was a top restaurant judging by website...

Place a was a dive and virtually empty apart from a couple of scummers that appeared to know the barmaid.

FAIL

Hardly spoke to each other in much detail as per the first date, more just chit chat.
FAIL (not helped by my lack of enthusiasm for the whole thing)

She went away for the weekend so I left it and didn't text her.
She text me Wednesday and asked me out again on Saturday. :-/

What do you guys do for a cheap date?

I am a broke student and wining and dining like 10 birds I am chatting up at the moment is going to bankrupt me.

Or should I turn off my profile and keep them simmering and date one each other the next ten weeks?

It is harder in the winter as you tend to spend time inside but in the summer you can always go for a walk down the beach, park, high street with an ice cream, stop by a coffee shop etc.

I'm just ignoring her now, I've said sorry I'm not interested after a few messages and she's claiming I'm leading her on.

Do I tear her a new one and have some fun saying that it's so obvious why she's single or just ignore her and carry on?

Hey secret spy do you tend to only go for guys with similar education and background to yourself? I think that's a stumbling block for me at the mo, im finding a lot of the attractive girls on there are schoolteachers, pa, nurses and they might message back saying:

A wwww, that's nice of you to say I'm on xxxx holiday soon and looking forward to it.

But then I reply and they just ignore

Slumberbox I tend to go for people with similar interests and come cross as nice. Education etc aren't something I check really.

Well I have had a bit more success from POF over the last couple of days. I have been playing around with different photo combinations to see what the results are. When I had my face and then full body ones of me all muddy after cycling or dancing at a wedding etc I generally got very little interest.

So I removed some and just left the one of my face. I had more interest and a few messages, but from women that were dull. So then I put up another picture just of me sitting at my desk with my glasses off this time. Had loads more interest, about 7 girls have sent messages and more are responding to mine. I know this isn't loads, but it is better than before. Just goes to show how important the right picture is.

It's funny because I think I look like a mole without my glasses. Perhaps I should look into getting laser surgery

So i decide I will go out and have a good night with my friends, NO. Ruined by a woman. Who I know/like, as soon as i turn up, all over me. then ****s off when shes made the guy she really want jealous. I dont deserve this ****. Im not ugly, im a good guy, but i dont have the "edge" sorry women, i wont **** you and leave you. guess that makes me unatractive.

CAN NOT BE BOTHERED.

At 24 i was really hoping they had grown out of this crap, guess not.

At 24 i was really hoping they had grown out of this crap, guess not.

I've noticed that most of the time the ones who are all confident are usually arses, When I go clubbing unless they look genuinely like they want to chat then I will talk but if they start extreme flirting (haha what a word) I know somethings not right and it usually puts me off which is why I'm trying the internet really.

Chalk it down to experience mate, I've now taken the approach of it'll happen when it happens rather than looking per se.

I've been job hunting for 5 weeks now, last night I said in the pub I've given up looking for electrical jobs I'm just going to try my hand at some christmas work only to get a letter this morning asking for copies of my certificates.

Things happen when you least expect them, just sit back and enjoy yourself rather than worrying.

My internet dating relationship crashed and burned yesterday after about 4 month.

Shes a nice girl and I'm a little saddened by it all but we were arguing over pointless crap the last couple of weeks. I'm a stubborn git these days and she certainly hated backing down too so we kinda clashed.

Finished a bit harshly with bad words between us which is a shame, but Nevermind the quest for the right one continues

My literally french/french teacher is booked for date number 2 next friday, hopefully i wont put her off before then, french accent is kinda nice

Not sure whats going on with the other 1 dated, finding a mutual time seems to be not happening, and communication has been a pain via phone, but in person it was great :/

She wanted to go out drinking. I planned an early bike ride the next day so said I didn't want to go. not a great deal to elaborate really.
Didn't go on the bike ride because of the weather and I pulled a muscle in my shoulder laying bloody patio slabs as well anyway so spent the morning in bed.

I had a date with a girl from POF on Friday, we'd been chatting all week, she's awesome, she's Scottish, and we got on REALLY well. Been chatting to her still since then and planning to meet again soon. She lives in East London though, which is a bit of a trek for me, and vice versa, but hey ho!

Last night I had a date with another Scottish girl (not met online but figured I'd mention it). Technically the 2nd date, but 4th time I've seen her (twice we met out with others). Had a table booked somewhere for 8.30, cancelled that at 8.15, drank until about 10.30, then came back to mine, stayed in bed until 3pm today. Giggity! I really like her, but she is 5 years older than me, she's 31, and I'm just not sure we're in the same place.
