You know what, Go Ape is a great suggestion, sadly for me she only went a couple weeks back with her sister, and we also went round the same woods for our first 'meet' to walk the dog 2 weeks ago...

Go Ape would be perfect tho, any more suggestions? :)

Getting messages from people but none are my type, messaging women but clearly I am not their type as I have had no replies. The cycle continues :p

Go Ape :D

I have specifically ruled out bowling in my profile. Can't be breaking any finger nails now can I.

Surely you're just at risk of breaking fingernails at Go Ape if you catch on something? Hrm is that Go Ape place any good? Might take my niece there for a laugh. :)

I'm still talking to this girl who wants to Skype me first. She doesn't want to meet anyone in person before she has spoken to them through Skype - would you guys go along with that or just move on?

She seems really nice, shares my interests and shes also very attractive. I don't particularly want to Skype her, but it looks like I have no choice!

Hmmm.. How about go karting? You can do those arrive and drive sessions for like £20/£25 or something.

I've been twice and not broken a nail so far! You can get these special grippy gloves:

I like Go Ape - but it can be quite tough! Shame they've put their prices up from £20 to £30 :(

Why would you move on? Just talk to her on skype...

saw an advert earlier for a site called "uniform dating" or something similar

I just sat there in disbelief, surely not

Lol, my mate was on that as you get free weekends now and then!

I actually think he got a response from someone who was on our base IIRC!!

Same boat here Amp34.

We went bowling the otherday, but need now an different activity preferably one where i can get some revenge after being beaten twice by her!

Well I've suggested ice skating. Physical, fun and with the added bonus of being able to get close to each other if either of you are rubbish...

We'll see how she replies (and how it goes)...

Nice one mate, i suggested that to mine but she said she wasn't really into it, im going to try a pub quiz tomorrow, create an us against them mentality.

Agreed. Won't do no harm and could well progress things further along for you.

For some reason the thought of meeting someone for the first time over the net makes me feel uneasy. If I was meeting up in person, I would be able to strike up conversation no problem but I can't think of what I would say if I was talking to her first time over Skype! Sounds strange I know.

I've never used Skype before - does it allow for a push to talk function? As I only have a desktop microphone.

Cool, I might give that a go at the Leeds Castle one. :D Airkix at Milton Keynes is another good laugh but it's quite brief and also a bit pricey (worth it, though!).

BTW - Club100 Karting is awesome, tried that before.. neck-snappingly quick although it's a right pain when you crash out or stall! :(

Speaking of karting, would you like to attend the OcUK karting meet on 10th March? /OT :p

I'm awful at Karting; I just enjoy getting the back out everywhere so I lose loads of time. I *think* I'm working on the 10th but will check tomorrow. The whole meeting fellow internerds idea is a bit weird, though!

EDIT: Rye House! That track was awesome fun - middle hairpin is a bit of a sod. Everyone will have a great time! :D

I've just received a message from a chubby version of Tobey Maguire. Tempted to reply and say "OMG are you Spiderman???" :D
