Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

Yeah, they are having a massive problem with advertising. A dating site called true.com has been running an advert on POF using a picture of a guy from the US army. The problem is they don't have permission and the guy has been dead for about 4 years. Therefore in a case of USA madness the parents are suing true.com (fine) and POF (WTF?!) Story here:

So really if these people win their case, POF's owner really has little choice but to convert to being a fully paid for site. It's impossible for them to check the content of the ads. Crazy stuff!

If we were in an exclusive, official, monogamous, whatever you want to call it relationship (that we had both agreed to) and she was still seeing other people/sleeping around, then that is a trust issue.

If she's sleeping around while you are 'dating', I don't really see the problem. It's not unusual. Even if it's something that you wouldn't do personally, I don't think it is fair to judge someone else based on that.

I'll also use this opportunity to note 'wrap it before you tap it', especially when you don't know if they have other sexual partners or not.
 
I've been a bit of a loner for far too long, had a long term relationship end badly 4 years ago (Power cut at work one day so got sent home, walked in on my ex in bed with one of my now ex friends, yay!) moved to new area for work and not really had any motivation or self confidence since then, but I now have a lot more self confidence and starting to look more human and less hairy thanks to MisChief, before ss I often would have zoo keepers with cages following me thinking I was an escaped gorilla!

So what sites are good to use these days preferably free, although I might consider others? I tried Smooch a couple of months after my relationship ending and met a girl that persisted to show me every item in her house, piece by piece and with explicit details on how said item was obtained and what she used it for, needless to say it didn't go much further and I pretty much gave up looking after that.

In the past few years, I've gained a lot of friends that are girls, something I find easy to do growing up with 3 sisters! Although now I've come to start wanting to find someone special for a relationship again I've realised I no longer understand how to determine the difference between a girl that might be interested in me and a girl that I can become friends with, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also any advice on what I should put in my profile, how many and what sort of pictures, what to say about myself (I really fail at this part), how long it should be (I could bore in the world series I waffle that much!) and what I should say when messaging girls on said sites other then "Hi, how are you" heh

Wow, that's a horrible thing to happen to anybody. I can't stand cheaters. Scum of the earth. Internet, I've no idea. Best advice from me. If you're not a socialite, keep your eyes open when you do your grocery shop. Everyone's got to do it, including single females. If you get any vibes, just say, "Hi".
