This is great, loads of brilliant free books that I have always fancied reading. Props to the Project Guntenberg lot.

I have added some custom artwork but it doesn't seem to be showing up after syncing, is this an iPad only feature or am I doing something wrong? Could someone else try adding custom artwork to an iBook and see if it shows up in iBooks. Ta muchly.

Edit: Just synced again and it has transfered the artwork, not sure what I did but it is now showing up =)

Now I have downloaded it, how do I manually chose the file I want via itunes? I updated it automatically via itunes but it screwed up and says i have the current version 4.0....but want to restore it from the download I now have, only I dont know how.... :p

You mean that Music icon at the bottom is a folder? How did you get just one icon as the folder icon (As opposed to the folder icon with the 9 apps showing)?

No, no it's not a folder, it's the standard link that you have to play music, I've had it there since I bought my iPod. :)
That said; if you create a folder (just having the two apps in it) and then drag one out, you can have just one app in a folder. :o

Ever since updating I've had a problem with some album artwork showing...

In the new album view above - it shows as "Unknown Artist" & "Unknown Album" - however, when you play a song, it shows the details and art correctly as below...

This is not on every song/artist I have on my phone - but on quite a lot (I would say as many as half of my songs don't have the correct album artwork :()

Any ideas?

Wow, this OS has totally screwed my iPhone.

Looks like i need to do use the phone from factory default without restoring from a backup!

just managed to get a 3rd gen or whatever apple call it ipod touch onto version 4, after having numerous 'corrupt' messages, then it managed to install it, and now it won't update the songs, not that bothered atm. My main concern is my dad's 3GS which is following suit to my ipod touch!!! Looks like a fun evening ahead, but I must say the new OS looks stunning on the touch, i can't wait for it on the iPhone!!

EDIT: The 3GS is finally co-operating!!
 
So am i right in thinking os4 is great on the 3GS / 4G but rubbish on the 3G ? does multi tasking not work on the 3G
