iPad Mini...

I just looked at the sample "Cars" video on an Iphone 5 in a shop and it seemed to me better IQ than the IPAD mini

I think I'd prefer to watch a film on the Iphone than the Mini screen :(

please Apple retina and full colourspace screen asap please :)

I'd question why you'd want to read web pages, especially forums, in landscape. That's the beauty of 3:4 aspect ratio, you can read like a book without any issues (and type with two thumbs like a phone).:)

IMO you have to stick your nose less than 6 inches from the screen to start to notice any pixels and who would do this but someone half blind who wouldnt benefit from a bigger resolution anyway.

Whilst yes it being a higher resolution would obviously be nice it should not be a deciding factor.

Oh and have to agree the normal iPad feels unnaturally heavy in comparison to the Mini.

I read about a foot away, when I'm on the tube etc, that's the great thing about the form factor and weight, you can read it like a book. You can see slight pixel issues at that distance but its not a killer issue.

It is so much more friendly form factor wise I agree, my old 10" touchpad feels huge in comparison!

I think I currently have the perfect set of device sizes at the moment, a ~4" phone, 8" tablet, 13" ultralight laptop (1440x900 - the HD resolution 1330x768 are horrible) and a 27" 2560x1440 desktop. Perfect for all travel and work occasions :D

see i have never understood this because when i got mine today from argos they said do you want the 3 year extended warranty.I always say no but i just thought surely if you spend £270 surely you get more then 12 months,i remember buying computer monitors that use to come with 3 years onsite warranty and they were only about £100
 
Correct but you might have to fight to get the SOGA on your side against a retailer all depends how far your willing to go
