Guessing you just need to restore it first to install the update if you've got a jailbroken iphone on an o2 iphone contract? Any need for boot neuter first too or is it fine without?
Thanks
6 quid aint bad, I might actually buy that!
Only trouble is that, apparently all the apps in 1.1.4 wont work on 2.0. So I dont nkow if its worth upgrading. If theres significant battery increases, or anything like that, then I probably will
Just updating mine to 2.0 now through iTunes and its been on "Accessing iTunes Store' for nearly half an hour. On my iPhone screen i have the iTunes logo and a pic of a USB plug and an arrow between them, anyone else stuck here? Maybe iTunes store is just busy!?
You can't seem to yet. It's not available, you click update on your ipod in itunes, it says 'learn more', you click it and it says, 'sorry the itunes store is not available.'
That'll be the activation server being overloaded...
Haly, mine was jailbroken and unlocked, it restored without a hitch. I'd be cautious about an update though, nothing to lose, though, you can always restore if there are problems updating.
Agh why must I have an iTunes account to download free Apps... I dont wanna give them my CC info cos I'm not gonna buy anything!
Any way to register an iTunes account without handing over CC details?
