iPhone 2.0 firmware available now

When you click on Your iPhone iTunes should pop up asking for the code. Type it in and bob's your auntie.


Oh, and I can report that the current version of ZiPhone would not hacktivate my T-Mobile SIM, I've just had to restore the firmware as a result of trying.

That's the old iPlayer icon, it has changed now to just an I> like symbol

I just updated mine from 1.1.4 jailbroken and unlocked with ziphone. The upgrade went fine and my phone was picked up in itunes. So then i loaded ZiPhone and clicked the unlock process but it stalled at rebooting the phone :(

Why did you upgrade your phone? Nobody has released a hack for 2.0 yet. There is nothing on Zibri's site about him releasing an updated ziPhone to do it.

I have an iPod Touch. :D

Im a bit annoyed with it now though to be honest, my touch started playing up yesterday, the time went mental (kept flicking between NY time and Pacific time) also the brightness was never constant, it kept changing every couple of seconds. :confused:

So I fully restored it this morning, and guess what? It's lost my January Software Update, so I dont have my added programs anymore. :mad:

Question.....

If you buy an App say in itunes for the itouch, do i have to pay for it again for the iphone? Or does the app apply to my account and not the device?
 
The app applies to the device, not the account as far as i'm aware. There was a lot of head noise about it on the macrumours forums.
 
well as i decided to keep my wallet in my pocket this time around i will just be upgrading to the v2 software once its hacked (if)

go to ibiza then hope i have enough spending money left for a white payg iphone on my return in september :D
 
If its not out before 3pm today i'll not be happy. It seems I need the update to come out to fix my touch, its gone mental since I restored it this morning. Im going away for the weekend, so I won't be able to update/fix it til monday if it doesn't.

But itunes 7.7 came out at 3am pacific time or something so here I am hoping it'll be a similar time.
