Just been playing with the 3G in the Apple store and some bloke I got talking to reckoned 2.0 has been cracked. Anyone seen anything ?

Im presuming it just that the store is overloaded, but my itouch said that there was the V2.0 update available, but when I went to buy it i was getting errors from the itunes store. Now ive went to try again its saying my itouch is up to date with its 1.1.4 software, is this just problems due to overloading, or has the 2.0 not been released yet for the itouch?

The server is getting hammered, took a good 20mins before itunes decided to let me know that 2.0 was available :/

As the page on apples site to 'buy' opens itunes, then nothing else?

Is it true that it adds remote control of iTunes?

Yeah it was supposed to be out today, but Apple have been a bit of a joke.

The update adds the 'App Store' to your programs on your touch, you can download the 'Remote' app from it.

I installed the 2.0 icons on my unlocked and jailbroken 1.1.4 just to keep me satisfied, gunna wait till the dev's sort the real deal till I make the step.

I'm loving the app store on iTunes just a shame its just that fatal step away

Thanks Might give it a couple of days just to let teething problems become apparent

Make that 10hrs, most of which was waiting for it to reactivate anyhow
Restored then updated and all is well Liking the app store a lot.
