*** iPhone 5 - Revealed! ***

You are clearly the most biased apple fanboy around. It's not like you ever put people in their place after unfairly criticising Android. You most certainly don't recommend android phones to people who need them. Worst of all, you clearly only use apple products and most certainly aren't one of the most experienced with a variety of mobile OS' on these forums :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::p

Bah, you got me! :D

I know right, that Robbo is so biased, I hear he has a framed picture of Steve Jobs above his bed!

I'm kinda speechless my 4S is worth more to go to a recycling co. than on the bay.

feels like such a waste...

EDIT: posting the below in here aswell as the tariff thread as is extremely useful.

Vodafone Users

Protip: Hover around their sales page for about 5 minutes and a popup window will appear for "livechat" you will be put throught to someone in sales who you can ask for a nano sim.. they then put you through to a customer service agent in livechat who then orders one for you no problems..

Just ordered mine, will be here in 3-5 business days. He actually knew what a nano sim was - genius!

Happy now

Really? I just checked and it looks like iPhone 4S 32GB White are going for around £350 - Checked the mobile phone recycler comparison and the best price I could get was £275 :/

Well mine is only 16gb, getting £300 from envirofone, all the ones on the bay are dropping at £275...

Don't forget eBay's 10% cut plus the paypal cut too

Edit: used the promo code EMAIL5 on envirofone a day or 2 before the iPhone 5 was announced.

Just got my O2 pre-order done.

Got a text through saying i can upgrade to the iPhone 5 so logged in and there was an option to have a iPhone 5 now.

Went for the 64GB Black.

The O2 pricing is whack though so i may leave O2. They had a £30 hike on the price of the phone over every other provider...

I was eating my dinner so I ignored the text and now they only have white ones or 16gb black

This.

Mentioned the following in iPhone 5 tariff thread but don't want people caught out so posting here too:

Just a heads up guys, spoke to Three about upgrading etc and they mentioned that only the One Plan has free tethering, there's another tariff with unlimited data and this does not include free tethering.

You can add free tethering for £5 a month though which makes it £17.90 and cheaper than the One Plan at £25

well £89 up front added to 24 months at £37 equals £977

if you're paying £21 for a sim only deal then spank £599 on a sim free phone its £1103 over the same period!

madness

Last year I paid £500 for a 4S then took a 3 Sim only deal at £10 per month (non micro sim as they charged £15 per month for the iPhone specific deal)

Claimed a cashback deal via Top Cashback and got just over £50 from that.

£120 - £50 = £70 + £500 = £570 over the year.

They did raise the price by something like £0.30 per month not so long ago so it might have been slightly more but you get the idea.

I doubt I'd get a deal quite as good this year. Bought the iPhone 5 earlier at £529 and will have to shop around for a suitable deal when it arrives. Selling 4S for £281 to a recycling site for the easy sale and to avoid the auction site fees and potential idiots trying to rip me off.
