My 6+ is definitely going back. It's huuuuuuge. I'm a fool for not checking out the size more carefully beforehand :p

Lovely bit of kit though, all the same. The design is incredibly sleek :)

You can remove the emoji crud through ;

settings>general>keyboard>keyboards>(Click edit top right)>delete>prosper.

Only standard keyboard left.

As to swapping it round, well I would suggest crying yourself to sleep whilst cursing apples keyboard customisation :D.

Excellent, thanks

Having slept on it, the 6 Plus is going back. It doesn't feel like an iPhone. It's... awkward. :p

I'm sure for some people it'll work great, but for me it just doesn't. I'll keep my 5 for another year, see how the 6S (Not plus) turns out. I thought I'd be comfortable with a two handed device, but I'm not. One handed is where it's at.

Anyone else finding it hard / impossible to hold in one hand and reach the back button on safari and also the new page button (bottom left and bottom right) I think its just when securing it with the 3rd finger - If just balancing it on my 3rd finger I can reach fine (but that not possible unless you rest the phone on your and facing up)

On iPhone 5 it there was no problem

(iphone 6, the + is ridiculous size IMO)

I think really all the Plus problems would be solved if the device had a "back" button :) would remove 99% of the times you need to reach to the top left..

Still loving it though!

I had a play with the 6+, it's a great device, but the phone it's self is just too large to be a phone in my opinion. I use my phone 1 handed a lot and the 6 just feels like the right size.

My only gripe with the new form factor is that the edges are too round. The device even in a case feels slippery. Maybe I'm just too used to holding the 4s.

Can't you just swipe left to right from the left hand edge? I use this on my iPad, to go back, finger on left edge of screen, swipe to right and back you go.

Helps if you have a really long thumb though!

It would also be impossible to press the home button with your thumb holding it like that (unless you are double jointed maybe)
That's fine though, and it's normally how I hold the phone. This is because I'm rarely pressing the home button if e.g. I'm cycling through emails. The home button is only used to change applications, which is effectively a 'rare' event compared to using functions on the screen. To get to the home button and use the phone one handed you slip your pinky under the bottom, push the phone up, press home, slide it down. This is how I've always done it. On the 6 Plus that is a bit dangerous as so much of the phone and it's weight are now balanced on your hand, with little grip from your left fingers to hold it.

Come on guys, let's see some more pics, Newly delivered phone pictures in hand are always better than stock ones :p

On a similar note, would have loved Apple to have released a phone sized in between what they have done with these two.

I never use back on Safari, just swipe to the left. I can just about reach most of the stuff on the Plus at the bottom - my little finger sits underneath the phone and the device.

Total one-handed freedom though... need a small screen (like all iPhones before these ones).

So far the only thing I don't like about this phone other than it being slippery is the vibrate - the actual vibrate is strong but the noise it makes is annoying. Probably deliberate on Apple's part because they want you to buy the Watch and turn vibrate off!

Yeah, we really need that. About as much as the 14.3" MacBook Pro.

No pics from me, I don't do mirror selfies, and the old iPhone is getting wiped...
