So I assume no iPad Air 3?, as want iPad air asap, but been holding off. wouldn't be too bothered about the pro version ones (12 inch or otherwise) but an iPad air 3 with say camara flash, increased res (4k)? 4 gig ram, A9 CPU and so forth etc would have me kicking myself!

You'll likely see iOS 9 public release a couple of days before the 6S launch date. They'll probably give the date in the keynote.

The GM will be available to developers tonight probably so if you're that way inclined....

iOS 9 is still in development afaik. They'll probably talk about release timescales for both iOS 9 and OS X 10.11 today
