iPhone Case

Two questions!

1. The 'Shades' do they completely encapsulate the iPhone? Including the screen? (How responsive is the touch screen if it covers the screen? And what is the material made out of?)

2. Foofs. Are they only available in the US?
 
People who bought the Ecells, how long did they take to arrive? I've been waiting 1.5 weeks! I emailed them and they said it could take up to 2 weeks but since it was sent RM 1st class I'm a bit annoyed! I've been using an old iSock and a crystal screen protector in the mean time but its a bit annoying.

Yeah, Black as Night. As far as I'm aware, the lining you get depends on what product you're ordering for, you can't specify. Looks like white satin only for iPhones regardless of exterior colour.

Of all the styles, I only really like Black as Night, and 'Kiku Makura' (the first one), but I can't decide whether that looks a bit camp.

I just went for the standard airmail shipping, the courier prices seemed to start at $30AUD, whereas I think airmail is $4AUD

Ahh they told you the same bullcrap. I might just get my money back from Paypal, the fact me and you still haven't received anything seems a bit dodge.
 
Raymond got his I believe, and their ebay feedback was pretty good.. maybe they're just outa stock and are hoping to get away with saying they've sent it, who knows!
 
The mean green Foof that I had for my iPhone was nice.

I'd also recommend a cable turtle from foofshop, they're great for headphones :cool:

Probably get a black case if I had to buy another though..
 
Is it just me that doesn't see a need to put the iPhone in a case?

I've had mine since November and it's still in very good condition, and I don't treat it THAT well yet the only real problem is a few light scratches on the back.

They just seem to make it bulky, harder to use and ugly!

ok received my shades case today, not very impressed.

Dont like the material. basically a see through plastic lol. Not sure how to describe it, it covers the screen also, but gets air trapped under it, even after lifting and re-applying it still ends up looking like a very badly applied screen protector.

The only case i have which i can say i love 100% is the incase slider, which i have in gloss black.

I also have one of the carphone warehouse rubber cases in black which is also very good.



My award goes to the incase slider though, looks class on the iphone :D


Shades i would give 2/10 not very impressed at all. Looks and feels cheap, and makes the phone look well...... crap basically.
 
the main reason is because the phone is like covered in teflon or something, very slippery, almost like holding a bar of soap and i know i will drop it. The case is to add grip and protection should i drop it.

Though it makes it a little hard to get in my jeans pocket, it's a great little pouch and will come in handy when throwing the iPhone in my camera bag or coat pocket.

Ten days from my despatch notification, standard delivery, too :)
 
Just got my incase slider, it's okay............

Pros - Snug fit, pretty, shiny and nice feel
Con - it scratch like any ipod of yesteryear, harder to reach the buttons compared to a rubber case, but the deal breaker for me is this and probably not fair to apply this to everyone.

I had stuck on a screen protector on the iphone, and at the bottom i got it a little to close to the edge, and may be even about 1/4 mm (if that) over to the shiny bezel. Because the case is so snug, when it is on, it catches that bit of screen film and pushes it in a bit a as a result it creates a bubble at both bottom corners. I just can't live with that and going to return it to apple under the 7 days distance selling regulation.

Just got off the phone with them, and spoke to some girl call Kim from Texas who has a Dreammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy accent :D It is all go now to return it, she is going to email me the return address and relevant details.
