Very impressed with the ease of unlocking it and everything and the application management, better then expected i have to say

Wish you could just select MP3's as ringtones though

I just went for the standard 'piano riff', it sounds like the start of b-b-b-bad to the b-b-b-one

It really is as simply, as plug in...

iTunes detects and asks to activate, at that point open up ZiPhone and click "Do It All"

5 mins later - boom done...

I've just done 4 of them

(not all mine, me + mates)

Im still on the fence about it aswell. Dont really know if i need it cause i dont use my Nokia 6120c that much anyway. But the iPhone is so damn cool and since its got a real web browser i feel that i would use that quite a bit.

If i did switch, i would get an O2 pay as you go sim card and get the 'Unlimited browsing' bolt on for £7.50 a month. Seems pretty decent, hopefully they aren't too up tight about the whole "200mb=unlimited policy" of theirs though.

You'll be doing incredibly well to get near 200Mb at 2G speeds. I haven't really held back, and I'm not really near 50Mb yet!

Can anyone tell me how to disable the GPRS/EDGE so it doesnt access those facilities automatically? Or at least a prompt of some kind?

If you mean for calls, take off the screen protector

If you mean in general, poke the speaker with a pin, search google
