I wouldn't mind knowing this too, until I get my O2 simplicity SIM, my Vodafone data charges are quite painful.
Hoping that it won't be able to access any data, since I haven't put in any vodafone-specific settings, but wouldn't hurt to make sure before it goes out of my wi-fi range!

I installed this program called... "Services" through the Installer button (is that installer button something created by the dude who made ziphone?)
The services button gives you the ability to disable Edge/Wifi and SSH whatever that is. But once you disable them, the phone turns off completely.
And when I want to use the phone the services are re-enabled again :|
Maybe yours has a problem (or your ears do
), mine is really loud on full volume. Have you got a friend with an iPhone you can compare with?

Maybe yours has a problem (or your ears do
not my ears, i just tried turning the volume up and down and there is no difference to the level of volume......................
What is that button above the volume button do? and is there some in phone setting that i am missing? may be i am stuck in some silent profile or something ?

just tried calling myself from the landline, it just vibrates and doesn't ring.....
The top one turns the ringer on and off!

Walk in, walk out, unlock. Up yours O2.
Above volume control.
When you can see the orange dot its set to vibrate. Just move to the right and its set to ring.
Got to settings ------> sounds to check that ring volume it on etc etc

Do you get any sound out of it whatsoever? Lock sounds? Speaker phone?
When you switch it when you look at the screen does a bell appear on the screen?
Any sound at all? Keys, lock sounds etc?

something REALLY strange is going on
none of my music would play, i mean it doesn't even play. the timeline bar doesn't move....

i got it unlocked fine ! the phone works, just no sound........
