Go to Settings -> General -> Keyboard and then "Enable Caps Lock" that should turn the "shift" into a caps lock button :)

You can just hold shift with one finger mind and type with the other, that'll capitalise everything.

Yes there is a capslock key. Go into settings then General and then keyboard and switch on Enable Caps Lock. Then when you are typing just double tap the shift key :D As for entering the wifi password it is a right pain but at least it remembers it.
 
It is driving me mad now !!!!!

My kep is 64 charecter hex key and it will not work !!

I know the key is correct because I have just entered it into my Wii.
 
Mate I don't suppose you have Mac Address filtering on your router do you? I to could not figure out why the hell i couldn't get on my home wifi, until it twigged that the iphone has a mac address like pcs do. So all i did is go into my router settings and add the Iphone Mac address to my list, and it all worked perfectly :D
 
Well I have it working but I had too remove the WLAN encryption from my Cisco router. I have just posted this from my iphone and it was really quick and easy!!
 
I want an iphone. Current situation is this:

Was on online 500 with o2 with a discount of -£15 so it worked out at £19.99 a month. Now my contract is up its gone back up to £35 a month. I have my old K800i that I am currently using. So I am due an upgrade, do I ring up and demand a free iphone or discounted price? Obviously I want to utilise my upgrade.

They can't/wont give iPhones out as an upgrade phone.

Your best bet would be to phone them up, get the £25 a month Simplicity deal (they dont give you a new handset but you get more mins/texts and unlimited data bolt-on) and then buy the iPhone, unlock it and enjoy.

why not upgrade the phone on your same contract at £19.99 a month, upgrade to the N95 8GB flog that on ebay as brand new, and use that cash to get the iphone??

I was having problems getting the iPlayer to work. Just clearing the cache wasn't doing the trick but this routine seemed to work for me:

1. Navigate to 'about:blank'
2. Force Safari to quit (hold home button for 10secs)
3. Go into settings and clear safari's cache
4. Watch Top Gear :)
