iphone down to £169

Quick question:

How do i get BBC iPlayer to work on my iPhone ?

It keeps saying "Error playing movie" on every video i click on.

I do the same and it works. Try clearing the cache.

lol no argument necessary, it's hardly going to change my opinion. If you feel it was a bargain then good for you, it's better than the alternative! :)
 
YES, got iplayer working at last, i had to reset network settings thou, dunno why that worked but it did ! Clearing the cache did nothing at all.
 
So i nearly bought one. Girl was scanning it through, then she said they couldn't take my card. It never occurred to me before that they may not take it. It's a visa electron, never had any problems in stores with it before. Well id actually just signed up for a new account with a Visa Debit card, but i hadn't used it yet. So i come home, get the new card and pin. When i get back the bloody stores shut, 10 mins before it was meant to! I went over the CW and i couldn't get in, cause they'd stopped people going in cause it was near closing time.

Maybe this is a sign? Im considering waiting for the 3g one and getting a new contract. I didn't think id use the mobile browsing, but i actually think i might now.
 
Got one.

Did the ZiPhone thing. Found out it was actualyy 1.1.2 and not 1.1.4. Tried three times to restore it to 1.1.4 nearly having a heart attack a few times. Restore it on the fourth time to 1.1.4. Re did the ZiPhone thing and BOOM it works.

Charging it right now wilst syncing so I am posting from my MacBook but will get a post made from it.

Bargain. CPW in Derby had sold out and O2 had less than a hundred left both started the day with 700.
 
Is there any way to get my iPhone to connect to a share on my windows network?
Also, is there any way of copying files to the device without using iTunes?

Ryan I had a problem with iPlayer tried resetting settings to no avail. I had to do a restore but after I restored you have to go straight to iPlayer and use it for some reason that sorted it. Found this solution on another forum.
