iphone down to £169

Posting this from my iPhone and it is amazing! Got to love how easy it is to use and how easy it was to jailbreak as well

Now all I need to do is sell my n70 and 8gb Nano to help ease my credit card burden LOL.
 
Tis a very fast delivery service once dispatched. Although i ordered it on Monday night, it got dispatched yesterday and arrived today in Northern Ireland.
 
iLiberty+ didn't work for me and I had to do a restore as was stuck at the BSD prompt so had to do a restore.

ziphone worked successfully.

If you're thinking of getting one then they will only sale you one. I bought one from o2 and one from CPW. It was far less hassle buying one from o2 as CPW want details etc...

I did buy the insurance from CPW as the sales bloke gave me a nice griffin case for free. I have already sent my cancellation request off via CPW website though :p
 
Just got back from town with one, shame I am stuck at work for another hour or so but I am surprised its not much bigger than my w910i, main reason I got the w910i was for the walkman but as its dreadful I decided to get the iPhone, hope its better, will probably have to hack my Sony headphones to get them to fit but should be OK.

Glad I put off buying one as I was going to get one last month but the £100 off sealed it for me.

Hopefully I wont mess up the unlocking when I get home :D
 
The iphone is MUCH better to use for music than all other phone on the market. Mainly because it is an ipod first, and phone second.

To use your siny buds, you will just need to get an adaptor, cost as little as £2.50 off the net.

What sort of details did CPW want?
Do you mean o2 online or retail store?
 
I hope so, main fault with the w910i was the lack of volume and just generally very bad sound quality, was very disappointed as my old k750 was pretty good.

Just looking at the adapters now, but I am guessing the iPhone headphones are handsfree which obviously wont be possible with my Sony headphones.
 
I've just got a Monster iSonitalk, which is stocked on Apple's site, but available much cheaper in other places. Has the headphone adapter, but also a microphone on a wire than you can clip to your headphone wire...
 
Thanks, may have a look at those but for £35 or so it might be a bit overkill, but if I can find them cheaper I will get it, good thing about my sony headphones is that they are split into 2 sections so will work well with that.

There are loads of cheap versions on the bay :)
 
yes i guess there will be, but the cord will need to be long enough as the headphone section of my sony ones is only about a foot or so long. will take a look once i've unlocked it successfully :)
 
Its all unlocked and my Orange PAYG sim card is working :D

It had the little "E" for Edge I presume? and now the "E"s gone, but its got little white pixels where it was.

How do I get rid of them/it?
