iphone down to £169

Im getting this iPlayer problem with a message saying "Error playing video" or something to that effect.

Ive heard a lot of people with this problem, tried clearing cache and restarting the iPhone but no dice. Anyone else has any contribution on this?
 
agh it wont connect to my wifi setup thus:
ad-hoc from my laptop
no wep/wpa2: iPhone cant detect network
wep: iphone detects it, I enter the password, stays connected for a few seconds with an ip, then disconnects as soon as I try to use safari to be replaced by a blue box.
wpa2: detects network but when I enter the password it just says cannot connect

Go to installer from the home screen.

Go to 'sources' on the bottom right.

Press 'edit' on the top right, press 'add' on the top left.

Then it'll pop up with a box for adding a weblink, add

http://appledailytimes.com/installer

click ok and it'll refresh the resources. (all this has to be done with internet on)

Go to the Apple Daily Times secion in 'Install' and it'll be in there.

actually, strange, both my itouch and iphone have lost the blue arrow on iplayer, is everyone also having problems ?


edit - iphone works !

Seems to be internmitent. Some clips have the blue icon.... others take longer for it to appear!

But it works so many thanks Raymond!
How did you find out about this btw?
 
well, at first i had a cookie problem, ie safari doesn't remember my login on all forums.

Someone else on this forum gave me the fix (the one above) for it and it worked, I told someone else on another forum about this, and they did this as part of their trial and error to fix their iplayer problem and it worked for him and a few other people too. :)
