iphone down to £169

I do like the iphones after buying one from o2 but I do have 1 thing and that's the length of the phone. I am acctually selling it on the bay because of it alough the functionality is nice.

It is very easy to backup/restore/unlock but like I said the size puts me off tad bit as I am used to small phones with little functionality.

I suppose you never carried an ipod or other HD based MP3 player around before, because if you have the size of the iPhone is perfectly fine, if anything, on the thin side.

Nope, since technology has been small for a while especially phones I am used to having small phones that I can't feel. When I go to work and put the iphone in my pocket I can feel it sitting there. Not a problem of the iphone just a problem with me been used to smaller phones.

The smudges on the phone after alittle use kinda gets on my nerves alough I could just buy a screen protector alough never got around to it.

Just to add to the list, bluetooth file transfers from phone to phone... from my knowledge you can't do that.

Also MMS is possible using swirly MMS but I feel I shouldn't have to intergrate a MMS and configure it to get to send pictures or media over air.

I was used to carrying smaller phones for the past few years (G600 and K800i), but the features that the iPhone has means that i am willing to carry around a bigger device.

I now don't have to carry my iPod and my phone :)

I very much doubt that, Apple made a big thing about the size of its screen and how lovely it is. It is one of the phone's charm, smaller phone = smaller screen. I can't see them do that especially with touch screen on the table, you can't use touch screen if the screen is too small.
 
MobileChat keeps bombing out when I'm chatting. Are there any alternatives that are an actual app because when I switch tabs in safari it seems to unload the page so it would be better to have a separate app like MobileChat.
 
hi, got my iphone today and went with iliberty+ instead of ziphone. it seems to come with this 'cydia' thing, and after abit of playing around with it im getting the hang of it. just wondering where, if poosible, i can find a list of all the iphone applications available to download and put onto the iphone. for example i havent got apollo, where and how can i get this?

You selected the wrong options when using iLiberty+

You need to restore your iPhone back to a fresh 1.1.4 using iTunes and then Run iLiberty+ again.

This time you need to make sure you do this:

- Run iLibety+
- Select Jailbreak
- Select Activate
- Select Unlock
- Make sure the payloads is NOT selected for now

Leave all the other options De-Selected

This time you will get an App called Installer instead of Cydia.

How do you install Installer.app when you only have cydia installed? Would make things allot easier for me restoring if i knew that :)

Edit: do i just need a new source for Cydia? Ooorrrr.. Can i just stick the installer.app on via SSH will that work then?
