my 02 contract runs out in a few weeks. (While it still 169)

Could i, buy iphone at £169 - then buy 02 simplicty £25, keep my same 02 number etc?

Would i need to unlock it to put the 02 simplicity card in?

Yes, I moved to simplicity when my contract ran out.

Just to confirm a few things!

+ There is a way to set it to send picture messages? (What about recording videos?)
+ Theres no difference between 8gb and 16gb (apart from the storage size)
+ When i move to the £25 a month simplicity and set my free bolt on to unlimited web browsing, this will include forums/e-mail/msn and some youtube via my iphone?

I only purchased one 9 days ago!!! Paid £269 for it.

Can I go to Carphone Warehouse where I purchased it from, and now get £100 put back onto my credit card...?

OHH ****!! I bought it in Swindon, and I'm not going back there for a week and a half...! :mad:

No, but you can get £100 gift voucher from Carphone Warehouse. Not sure about direct from O2, though.

You should have read up a bit - this price cut was predicted about a month ago, as Apple's release cycles are pretty predicatable (See MacRumours Buyers Guide: iPhone: DON'T BUY).

So ordering online, you pay £169, even if you don't use the O2 Contract? Just wanting to make sure its not £269 if you don't activate the O2 contract.

Also i take it, that its available in store?

Yes and yes.

I thought 3 was usable if you set it to roaming as they use Orange's network for 2G services. Dodgy i know, but it should still work.

Yep. All sim cards from 3 are 3g and won;t be recognised....of course the new iphone in June ought to work on 3
