iPhone Jailbreak 1.1.3 Released

On the emergency dial screen dial *3001#12345#* and tap Versions.

Firmware version should be 04.01.13_G (for 1.1.1)

If it's 03.14.08_G you have v1.0.2 :)
Cheers. It does have the 1.1.1 baseband. When I 'virginized' it before getting 1.1.1, it gave me a 'seczone' binary blob file to keep safe. I assume that will be needed to get it back in to a suitable state for future unlocks. Fun times!

FAO G-MAN, did you find a way of uninstalling summerboard as i'm getting that script error you posted on hackingt0sh? :)

EDIT, i fixed it, if you still need to know let me know G-man :)

weird as hell, I started the installer 1.1.3 upgrade last night then chickened out :p all was fine, used the phone last night a fair few time, got up this morning, and my iPhone had crashed, only thing I could do was hard reset it, rebooted and its now showing 1.1.3

Guess it continued to do its thing whilst I was asleep, the phone works fine, theres a couple of apps I use that dont work so im hoping there fixed soon, the new google maps feature didnt work at first, but I installed Navizon first, ran that, then google maps worked fine. I had to uninstall all my apps as nothing was showing on the screen, I cant unistall the sumerboard, so if anyone can tell me the fix id be greatfull :)

I just cant get SSH to work since 1.1.3 (it shows its on, but it doesnt display the iPhones IP in settings, and I cant connect to it using WinSCP , and ever since the update it keeps askign me to select my wi-fi rather then just log on to it by default?

Nope, I still need help, lol. :)

Thanks.

This was posted by Stretch on hackingt0sh....

"If that is happening, open the /private/var/root/Library/Installer/LocalPackages.plist
and remove everything including the opening and closing dict tags where you will find: <string>com.apptapp.SummerBoard</string> after that you can install summerboard, provided you have the 1.1.2 entry mentioned BELOW. You can then install summerboard if the uninstall was not working before"

To get summerboard to install....

"As a quick workaround, just edit the /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist and change the 1.1.3 entry to 1.1.2. Save that, and afterwards you can install summerboard and customize without a problem. After installing, just change it back."

If you get stuck let me know, but backup your old ones before you do anything :)

I've located the part that needs deleting, but I'm using iPhoneBrowser which annoyingly won't let me edit files.

What did you use?

Thanks. :)

I restored back to official 1.1.3 as I couldn't get my phone to activate. It was just a glorifed touch.

Once I was on jailbroken 1.1.3 I was unable to update the app snapp thing meaning I couldn't download anything for my phone..

This was the error I was always getting
"Main Script execution failed!"

Did you update installer before you went to 1.1.3? thats usually the problem.

I use winscp to ssh into the phone, its pretty easy to use :)

I've got that but have no idea how to use it. Unfortunately, I'm a big noob when it comes to these things. :(

I'm assuming SSH has to be turned on, although I don't know how to do that, seeing as it's not on the home screen.

Thanks. :)

If it's installed, it's on.

Go to Settings > WiFi > the network you're on and get the IP,
Type that into WinSCP using SFTP (I think...)

Edit: Or use Terminal like a real man <3

EDIT: One more thing :p

The themes don't change, regardless of which one I choose.

Hmm themes work for me, only the icons tho! I guess we need a new summerboard for dock & wallpapers?

Fstop, I really dont know of any other way. The error you describe with installer is usually if you dont update it before running the 1.1.3 jailbreak.

If i come across an answer i'll post it asap :)
