iPhone protective cover ?

Have applied the powersupport anti glare and the capsuleneo- nice combination i can now carry it in my pocket without much worry. the film really gives the screen more texture - thought it was wierd at first but now getting used to it.
Glad you like it - took a bloody while to research those options though...

The rubbery sections on the bottom and side lips of my SwitchEasy CapsuleRebel went all droopy (and it didn't fit that well to begin with). Wasn't very impressed, given the price.

Just got my iSkin Solo at the weekend for my 3GS. Really impressed with it, it feels quite rubbery but is very grippy, it's a red see through colour and protects everything bar the screen including the chrome. Fits like a glove and doesn't add any thickness.

I can post pictures if anyones interested.

I also have the black version winging it way to me as we speak which I don't need. If anyone fancies it let me know and I can set up a for sale thread in the right forum.

Your going to have to ignore my camera, it picks up everything. The marks you can see are where I wiped it with a lint free cloth and its some of the dust it picked up from the cloth. Can't see it with my naked eye! That's the red one, they come in blue, black and white as well. All the port holes etc are perfectly lined up and its so easy to put on. The inside of the case is a soft rubber so you have piece of mind about scratches when you take the case on and off also. They come with a crystal and anti glare screen protector but I prefer the screen naked. The problem is, they are not widely available in the UK yet, that red one and the black one on the way are imported from the US.

Any idea of any actual walk in stores that stock Switcheasy cases? Ordered mine from Jersey well over a week ago in stock , and it seems they don't have any or a eta for them either.

Dont bother with them - thats who I had my order with from the 20th June and I still didnt get my order fulfilled when they got stock this weekend, so I cancelled it yesterday and ordered elsewhere for delivery tomorrow hopefully...

Cheers, canceled and ordered from a place that's a color and not plugged in, cost a extra £4 but it's not the end of the world :p

My switcheasy case is annoying me now, really hate the phone being bigger, I removed it today to clean a bit of dust out and give the screen a clean and it was so much nicer without it on.

I only want something that protects the back while it sits on my desk at work or anywhere else I put it down.

Is the Zagg my only option? Or would a silicone case do me?

Read some reviews on the Zagg full cover and people complained of it collecting dust and peeling at the corners, my worst nightmares.

Any more suggestions for something that will cover the back to prevent scratches but not add any bulk that isn't some stick on film?

I might pop down to the Apple shop in Solihull.

Edit - quick question, if you buy a screen protector in store will they fit if for you there and then for no extra charge? Thanks

Happened to mine, apart from that it's a great protector.

I bought a Capsule Neo after seeing Feek's thread but it makes the phone too bulky for my liking so that was a waste of £18

Can you give any tips on how to make it last?

Did you palm it on the corners to get them to stick properly in the first place? After that be very gentle with it for a week or two as it does take a while to fully dry out and stick properly. Ive had no problems with my invisible sheild coming unstuck and ones been on my ipod about well over 2yrs. The iphone one was fairly hard to line up correctly though, luckily I had to do the wifes first so got the feel for it from that ;).

Yea that's what I found too.

I'm going to try and get out of work early and pop to the apple shop to see what else I can find.

When I went into the Leicester one, they were a bit useless, which was a real surprise, pointed at the covers, I asked if they do any fitting services on apple supplied products etc.. and the poor girl just looked at me dumbfounded, might give them a call again later and see what I ccan wrangle from them :)

iSkin Stuff...

Does it fit in the Apple charging dock ok with the iSkin on? :)
